Besides, ramboing with an exo is just about as stupid as ramboing in vanilla gear.. It just takes 2 skulks to knock you down.

Yes. Being huge, slow unmaneuverable and costing 50+ res? Oh and being one of the ultimate pieces on the techtree. This is not rock-paper-scissors people not everything has to have hard downsides for the sake of hard downsides.

Er, it kinda does, otherwise the game would just amount to 'rush exos because they work better against everything than anything else' and the gameplay would amount to 'save for exo > become invincible'
Well, moreso than that is already the case with fades and onoses and jetpacks in a lot of situations.
I don't think that just paying money to be universally better is a good way to make the game fun, because it means that anyone who doesn't have the money is just going to be universally worse. I'd rather have all techs and weapons be useful than have it be a competition in who can research the most overpowered thing to combat the enemy's overpowered thing.
Considering how quickly Lv0 Armor Exos die to Skulks, I'd say they're pretty balanced already.
Not to mention they can't be Beaconed, they can't build, they can't weld each other, they have a hard time shooting Skulks in melee range, they have a small FoV, I'd say they have plenty of drawbacks.
The exo isn't nearly as dominant as I thought it would be. It seems people just rush Exo and end up saving pres they could have used on welders and shotties. Then, they finally get an exo and die immediately after. The investment just isn't worth 50 Pres. Think about 1 Exo compared to 1 Fade. Fade wins 1 on 1 but they cost the same.

So shoot the cysts... you have unlimited ammo.
yep let me just heat up my gun and make a lot of noise to attack a cyst...
And that it took around 24 punches to take down a harvester; I don't think it takes as many switch axe hits? More testing required.
I think punch is extra effective against armour.
That sounds like lockdown to me.

Fade wins one on one? Ok lol.
