Natural Selection 2 - Rezzed - AWESOME!

Played Natural Selection 2 probably the best game as far as i'm concerned at Rezzed, it was great fun, great graphics, smooth and nice sound. The guys there answered all my questions and even thought I was a press interviewer ( my job calling? lol ). My brother even got invited to do a online review with another dev guy!. Going to get my pre-order thats for sure.

I spoke to a guy with glasses and i asked about outside areas, darker areas and the like!. Great bunch of guys and as i said to him, this game was better than farcry 3 and aliens marines from what i played, which where basically console ports and they didn't even know what FOV meant, wtf?

Nice one, will preorder soon as promised :)

    First time I've heard about Rezzed, I'm in London and not doing anything tomorrow, it will only take an hour to get down to Brighton and it would be great to meet Hugh. Are there any other devs there?? Is it worth the £15 train and £12 ticket just to go check out the NS2 booth??

    If the NS2 booth is there tomorrow, damn right it's worth going!. But even then there are other amazing games to see, just avoid the cafe downstairs it's expensive and naff :(

    They had i think 5 or so computers either side, can't remember :)

    I'm usually very wary about buying games and give a lot of lip towards the development cycle, however I was impressed!. To be honest I just wanted to slap those devs at the farcry 3 and Aliens booth, they weren't thinking of the pc at all. This is how it's done, and the chat I had with both guys at the booth was tops!

    I think they were Playtesters rather than devs, I just use devs as a general term ;)

    I was part of the large, oddly multilingual group that bombarded you with questions for the better part of Friday. I have to say, you were very helpful and patient, and I especially loved the pitch, it just seemed so genuine.

    I was actually visiting as part of a clan get-together and somehow you got them all interested, I foresee many more pre-orders coming your way!

    Not sure about DayZ i saw the same amount of people on each at the time but what did make me lol was the Pirates V Monsters game, it was rather bad so bad in fact the guy was giving out advertising cards to the same people LOL. My brother had four of them :D

    Worst game I have to say was Miami :(

    Nice writeup and thanks for the kind words, it was awesome being able to talk to old and new players alike and watch how new players got to grips with the game, we already have loads of ideas for things to improve based on watching people play and talking to everyone!

    Hi guys, new to the forum.

    I'd like to thank you chaps for attending Rezzed. Your game certainly was the highlight of the show and your presentation (which was the last of a busy day) trumped Borderlands 2 by some distance. We went back the following day to try it out and talk to your devs, really was pleasantly surprised (we were the hungover looking ones, who'd been working on ce3 and grilled your mapper!). Big thank you to all involved, you've certainly got a great game on your hands, the concept is superb and it has certainly come a long way from the NS1 days!

    Just hope you guys open up a few art positions!
