You need a new router. Thats not caused by software.

Agreed. If it's more than one game that has caused this, it's something your router doesn't like. Sounds like it's on it's way out.

You might want to try a router firmware update first (if newer firmware is available). I've solved router connectivity issues before by doing this and its cheaper than buying a new router. Though, if you're renting a router from your ISP, you might just want to call them and see if you can get it replaced with a new one.

Is your router restarting physically or do you have the problem, that you can't make any new connections, but old ones still work ? Like Teamspeak is still working, but no new webpage can be opened for 30 seconds ?

    What kind of router?
I've had a problem like this before and turned out to be a problem w/ the design of the router. Got a different one and life was good.

isn't this similar to an issue with steam games from UK provider BE?

That was a router issue that caused loss of internet connection etc. It may be similar.

okay so resolved the issue for tf2 etc sort of.. its to do with it searching/refreshing servers too fast or something.

Hi, I had this problem. Check this thread:

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=117254&st=0" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...117254&st=0</a>

Changing the UDP timeout on my router fixed the problem.
