    did the skulk's biting sound get amplified as well? the past 3 updates made it's chomping noise increasingly louder, so annoying lol

    Far too loud. Much louder than gun fire and grenade explosions.

    Yea I think the skulk bite is too loud as well. It sounds like a metallic bite rather than the bite of an organic animal.

    Biting has been a bit too loud yes, but the current volume of onos gore is just dangerous for your ears if you use headphones.

    I agree, to loud. I also think the sound bite sound needs to sound less like a cannon.

    I play NS2 like it's my job.

    The Onos gore hit sound is well above the 90 decibel Occupational Safety And Health Organization's Permissible Exposure Limit. Therefore, UWE is required to create a conservation hearing program and provide hearing protection to all of their employees.

    I didn't think it would be so bad, before when the skulk bite got loud, I mean it was loud but it was tolerable. So I start playing a couple games going "Oh I bet it's not that ba- OH FFFFFFFFF MY EARS OH GOD"

    I noticed the new sound and loved it. Really sounds like you are doing tremendous damage, especially when you see the marines go flying. Makes it that much funner.

    Someone firing a gun within 1 meters of your ear would cause lengthy deafness. Should all gamers be deaf or have really bad tinnitus for the sake of realism?

    Along with the aforementioned loud sounds, I also find that even with the Voice option in the Sound Menu at 100% and the Sound option at about 10-20% it is very difficult to hear some folks' in-game voice comm's.

    Agreed, it sound like watermelons exploding, and ruins all immersion IMHO.

    No kidding, when did Natural Selection turn into a jump scare type of game? Just wandering around and then...SMASH SMASH! Scares the crap out of me every time..needs a little tone down. :)

    The shock factor wore off for me after about 5 minutes. Then I just didn't want to hear it anymore so I closed the game and told myself I wouldn't play until it gets fixed.

    If they want to get peoples' thoughts on the new alien mechanics, driving people away from the game is the wrong way to do it!

    I just play with my volume super low. Then, onos gore is almost bearable, though I can literally hear nothing else.

    It's not only gore also hydra and lerkspikes are very loud, especially if the alien is silenced.
