Them "hidden" documentations of bugs are indeed simply Frapsed @ low FPS (due to performance issues) and slapped together inside VirtualDub using Avisynth and sometimes I add commentary to the second stream.
I've been trying Dxtory with 3 HDD's now. Same-ish performance (+2FPS on average I think). NS2 still sucks the life out of my CPU, which does have an impact on the recording even though Dxtory is mostly using the GPU (haven't checked that claim yet though :P). But NS2 runs a lot smoother (less FPS stutter)! Going to add RAID0 to the equitation as well. I've got some 40Gb HDD's laying around...
It's too bad it doesn't detect NS2 window mode... Or rather detects it, but doesn't work. It's all scrambled and there's no OSD :(
Yeah its kinda strange that windowed doesnt work with ns2... just tested it with minecraft in windowed mode and it works, so not sure why dxtory doesnt like ns2 in window mode...

Here's the first round of the game between Duplex and HBZ played in the playtest version of ns2_turtle b2. It shows clearly how difficult it is to play and cast a map you have never played. :D Especially the ending makes me hide in shame. :D Actually.. don't even watch it! :D

Here is the 2nd round of the game between duplex and HBZ on turtle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g22GXfxkuFQ Round 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umXC8jeZdY8
You can add http://www.youtube.com/user/ns2casts to the list of casters. It is a shared channel for game casts of ns2. Currently only the game from Duplex vs HBZ is up, but more will come in the future.

turtle works pretty well even in its development stage.
I agree, it has alot of options for diversity in gameplay, such as lots of good and interesting phase gate spots. This is mostly due to the "open" map design, which also allow aliens go get anywhere, seemingly fast. Fast paced action. And I feel that the map is pretty balanced all over. I'm really looking forward for it to be less buggy, with better pathing(AI can't go through doors, for example), power bugs fixed, stuff like that :P When it hits that point, I could definitly see this map become official!
Turtle might have interesting strategy options because of its open design but the down side is skulks having no chance in the early game. Perfect example of that is the first video (round 2)
QUOTE

Here is the 2nd round of the game between duplex and HBZ on turtle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g22GXfxkuFQ
Marines totally dominated early game and would have won in the first 10 minutes if marine team knew the map better. Rooms are too spacious, hallways are very boxy with nowhere for skulks to go, and the different height levels give marines an unfair advantage. I'll bet if this map was widely played the win\lose data would show the marines winning a majority of the games. I could be totally wrong though considering this is the first match i'v seen.

It is fast to rush marine start, and also get back there if you die in the first try. Not too fast though. It's quite good. If you watch round 3, that can be seen. I think what you're seeing in round 2 is good aiming from my little ground soldiers ;) Aliens have lots of places to go in this map, alot of hiding spots compared to, lets say, summit. And a good vent system as well. I don't think that marines would win most of the rounds on the map, at least in 187, it was hard getting a victory as marines. Haven't played the new build much because of all the gamebreaking bugs.

After a long time I was finally able to find the time to record two matches this afternoon. These matches were ENSL gather matches on the brand new map mineshaft. Here are the links to the youtube videos:
Unfortunately, I had to take a break in the first round because of the doorbell. So I've missed some of the mid-game part. The second round was canceled after 30mins because most players timed out after some crazy actions in "Crushing room".
Anyways, its great to watch and please don't judge me too hard if you see a little camera confusion (it was the second time I played on mineshaft).
