Whadda people think? I was going to go for the corsair vengeance RAM, but there are apparently issues with that and this mobo. The mobo has recieved mixed reviews, tomshardware gave it best-in-pricerange, while hardocp bagged it out pretty hard. I'm going for the ATI card because I want to be able to drive three monitors without going SLI.

Make sure you get a decent cooler on that 2500k, they can overclock up to 4.5Ghz+ on air.
I have two 1TB drives for storage in my current 'puter, along with a beefy PSU. The rest will go to my spares pile and/or be melded into my server.

Good job you got the 1TB drives when you did....They're insane prices now! Also I approve of your selection, but you might be better off with a OCZ SSD. Such as: http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-Vertex-2-5-Inch-...5909&sr=8-1 $189.99 same spec and cheaper.

ATi are better at multi-monitor and have better visual colour gamut, though in NS2 at the moment shadows do not look as good. Nvidia cards tend of have more brute-force and shadows look much better at the moment in NS2.
Good choice on SSD, it's going to change your life. I keep whatever steam games Im playing at the time on my SSD, and the others I backup onto my storage HDD, then just swap them around if necessary.
But really, after tasting the sweet nectar of SSD performance you may never be able to return to normal.
edit: I don't have strong opinions regarding printed circuit boards or silicon but Ive always bought ATi/AMD cards my whole life and had 0 driver problems. I bought a Geforce card too once and it worked perfectly as well. Hope that helps!
Their multi-monitor stuff is superb though, seamlessly across four monitors with no slow down =]
Mooooonkfish. Read the OP before you shame yourself any further.
