Hugh/NS2HD sucha noob narrator. No aliens, bad sound, no gameplay at all really.

Currently

DAMN, UWE has come a long way! And pretty good commentating.
Fades, cysts, blink, skulks, commander mode, flamethrowers, buildings, shade, crag, whip, lerkv2.0 etc. etc. etc.

How quickly some people forget the major strides and accomplishments of UWE, especially for a team of people you can count on your fingers.

That video not only reminded me of where we were a year ago, but how long ago NS came out. Around 10 years at that video time? How time flies.

Congrats UWE :) despite the naysaysers, it's still a great game. Just dont relent and make 'NS1-Spark Edition'. Make NS2 awesome and your way.

i enjoy playing ns2 since b160 and played hundreds of matches in over 400 hours ingame time and over 250 hours mapping time.

i already enjoy the competitive scene and im looking forward for the tournament.

im aware of all the issues and bugs in ns2, but i still love to play it.

This game is pretty much fun for me right now and i know it has potential.

Hope you guys at UW dont run low on funds and that you still enjoy your work, even though it can be frustrating

sorry for those, who cant play ns2 right now, due to performance issues. hope the game is getting ready to rock for you soon

Need to bring back that engine test map and call it Flayra's Shooting Gallery.

I thought the same as i read the other post. Pretty unfair.

THX UWE for the great Game even in the beta status.

I must say Build 185 is great, and really good balanced. Both sides have good chances to win the game if they play in teams.

I like to see the new features which should be done in the next patch like the pheromons. That shoul help the Alien Teamplay
a lot and i appreciate that.

For me the most important things in the next builds are new features, and to make the game more intuitive. That is even the most
important point for me, because without this i am afraid UWE won´t get the comercial success they deserve.

LMAO! I had to tumbs up that just for S's and G's. I got like 5 fps on that engine test, tops, so I'm quite surprised to see a smooth recording of it. The game sure HAS come a long way, and so has "that ######" :P.

Keep up the good work both UWE & Hugh, you're only heading in the right direction.

Who is the idiot with the awkward voice in that first video! Sounds like he took maybe 14 goes to get that right!

Did anyone else load into that Engine Test and just sit there, jaws agape? I sure did. Couldn't believe I was 'standing' in NS TWO.

Having played every single patch, I've really seen the progress at first hand.
And for a team of UWE's size, I'd say they are doing just fine in terms of progress.
And the fact that they look at the feedback from the community, it's priceless and it will help get a better game.
You don't see alot of other game companies that do that.
They have a talented, but small team. And I very much doubt that this won't be a success.

They got this, dont worry. Keep up the amazing work guys!

hard to tell if this is supposed to be ironic.. but I guess it is ;-)

I enjoy NS2 since B157 for 270hours so far .. which is more then I have logged in all other games in my steam list together.
Just keep up the great work!

If any of you noticed, Red Orchestra 2 was just released yesterday and for the most part, it still feels very much like a buggy beta. Even with a 20 man team, Tripwire optimizes slower then UWE's one man coder, Max. It was a bit of an exaggeration but, Max prolly is as good as a 20 man team XD

Kudos to UWE for thier hardworking epicness.

Yeah, not sure what the deal is with RO2, but they have been making good improvements. I think they rushed the release a little but I'm still having a blast playing it.

Great point though, Max seems to get more done in less time than Tripwire, and he's only one man. I've always been shocked at how quickly Max can accomplish feats of coding...

I would ( as a big fan of the first one ) but the game is way too buggy now to be worth 35 euros/dollars.

No need to hurry, they should wait until they track down the blackscreen bug imo :P
Then we might also get more fixes/features. :P

I may be a little late to the thread..
but I too want to say that I love to see how far team UW have come.
At first I was sceptic but now I'm sure ns2 is going to be a great game. The game is getting noticeably better with every new patch.
Keep up the good work, UW.
