  As long as it isn't unlimited range, I'm all for this. Perhaps even make it be more like bile bomb, which has an arc/trajectory. This would make placing it at just the right spot in the ceiling take a bit of skill.
  
  Regarding the inability to (easily) heal these, there is a price for everything. Its up to the gorge to decide if it is worth it.
