Really sweet room, we haven't seen anything like that yet. The green looks awesome along side the rocky cave walls. I could take or leave the bubbles...they're a bit lifeless to me and the green goo doesn't need more effects, it's enough by itself for me.

I love the map, looks amazing fun, esp for the skulk. Just wondering though, wont the "openness" of the map give aliens a big advantage while traveling? But then again, once marines get jetpacks they will have the same and its fairly open for rifle fire.
Just wondering, could you maybe do a tut on your bubble effect? or is there already an existing one about cinematics?

Would be awesome if you could :) Btw, as for the cinematic flickering. Do yo happen to have a SLI/Crossfire setup or a dual GPU card?
Because the game doesnt have VSync im having the same flickering on my main desktop (dual gpu) but not on my laptop which has a single gpu.

i have an ati radeon 5770, its crossfire capable but not bridged. maybe it's an ati thing? it's just weird, cuz it only does it on some cinematics. when i put in premade cinematics they don't flicker, but if i edit premade cinematics, they flicker, and if i make them from scratch, they flicker. it drives me nuts but i live with it for now.
as for the tutorial, it's pretty straightforward, do you know how to make brushes in photoshop?

Yes i know how to make bushes, anything PS, ILL or INDESIGN related shouldnt be a problem.
Hmm, well its not only an ATI thing, flickering for me with nvidia cards.
I think the bubble effects look weird. Personally I would have them with these sorts of stats:
Cone (80+) Particle Velocity (1,1) Particle Force (0,0,1)
This will give them a sort of "frothing" effect when placed over geometry, adjust everything else as necessary. It would be useful to have a sort of scalable velocity for vertical and horizontal movement.
the bubbles have changed significantly since that video. they are much smaller and the emitters are clustered so as to require fewer of them. a frothing effect just wouldn't be as exciting, if i take your meaning correctly as it would just bubble on the surface. i like the visual space they take up currently :)

I love the acid look of it and the deep water thing. About that deep water thing can you actually swim in NS2? I haven't thought of that earlier. But again I really love the acid look of the map, this will be freakin awesome when it's released I think. Oh and good description "It has waterfalls" lol :D
So the TSA was pumping carbonated fluorescence ink! Really though, it's really green. What is it supposed to represent? Acid? I've never seen green acid. Nuclear waste? There is no green nuclear waste afaik!
