Please have your people (YOU) contact my people (ME) about how I paid for a game 2 years ago and I STILL have yet to see it run on my computer. (at ANY LVL)
I have gone through countless hours of forum messages to get the game to even Start.
I applaude the numberous messages for their insite to fixing this game, but alas: NOTHING.
I get a blank screen and not ONE msg in the forums helps or fixes my problem.
( double click, hdd kicks in, crunching... crunching, hdd, mouse curser moves from 'waiting' to 'normal', stops, and I am left looking at a black screen
with the only way to get out is CRTL, ALT, DEL: End Task )

Do I need to ask for my $ back ?

I know, Alpha, Beta, unoffical ... screw all that, I cannot even load it after a 100% format/reinstall of C: D: and E: !

WTB: HELP
There is nothing else for me to try and I see scant a mention of this (my) problem any longer on the boards.

I am taking any all suggestions, but I warn you, I have tried them ALL.

    Perhaps if you also 100% formatted any back-up drives you might have, USB-sticks, floppys, the lot.




    Joking aside, if you don't post your computer-specifications, it's a bit hard to tell what might be going on.

    Specs, crash dumps, any logs the game generates etc, all of these are helpful.

    Can't really do anything if you just say you have a problem.

    How long did you wait after getting the black screen? If I want to load NS2 up it's hard to tell if anything is happening until the menu shows up after some 30s.

    Not technically, but you can get the same effect by running windowed mode and then using <a href="http://www.grismar.net/shiftwindow/" target="_blank">ShiftWindow</a> to adjust the window location. Its not ideal, but it will work until UWE gets around to doing it.

    Do you have 2 monitors? Had something similar when I reinstalled NS2, had to change resolution in the config files and/or run it windowed for it to work, can't remember for sure.
