If they posted a twitter update saying the patch was up and live on steam it would be on the ns2 community site and people would all say in this thread it was. Yet alas i have seeing no post so i have no clue where you are getting this info from sir.

You need to read posts more carefully before replying Crono, he's saying that he couldn't tell it wasn't 154 because there's no version display on the title screen.

Well you'll know if it's 154 because in 154 they did add a version number in-game. Therefore, no version number = no patch.

Yeah, some kind of version indicator on the main screen would be nice...

Edit: Okay, that is really nice.

Well i guess i didn't understand what he meant by it cause when i post something about something in specific i am very detailed about what i am talking about making darn sure people will fully understand what i am talking about :P. I do not mean to misinterpret what people say but i find that alot of people on forums arent detailed enough about what there talking about lol, thats why i am bad for misreading posts on forums.

Don't expect others to talk the same way you do. It's great you apparently speak in perfect clarity, but in most bits of life, knowing how to listen is far more important than how to speak.

And if you're "very detailed about what i am talking about making darn sure people will fully understand what i am talking about" your spelling and punctuation could use some work.

Dead zone this is the internet using perfect grammar is not necessary and i did not say anything about expecting people to talk like i do so you are simply jumping to conclussions now. When talking on the internet to better understand people when posting on forums it simply helps to include more words to better detail what you are talking about, thats merely all i was saying.

So please don't tell me that my punctuation needs works, besides that is what the correction feature is for on forums :P. cause i am fully aware of how to do so but sometimes miss or cut out on doing so to get my wall of text done faster is all.

Woot I'm so excited I can't wait to try the new patch out! If the FPS increase is really working and there's no severe lag issues I'll start playing regularly

    The patch is a lie!
  • MartinMartin Join Date: 2010-07-27 Member: 73229Members
Gents I have a feeling it'll be downloadable on Wednesday since that's when Valve pushes patches out.

If a patch falls in a forest and no one is around to test it, is the game patched at all?

    I don't like you.

Just kidding :) That WOULD be kinda sad though.. I figure it just takes Valve a few hours to get all their ducks in a row and push the update out, though.. Not sure that they strictly run on a Wednesday patch schedule.

    Hahaahahaa. that's a good question.

Valve does not put patches off until Wednesday just because. It's only 2pm there, it should be up sooner or later.

Is the patch out yet? Twitter says the build was 'published' but I don't see the in-game version # yet.

This missing patch via steam makes me angry.

    :P

*waits to get off work* ... *thinks to himself, "but for what? no patch yet..."*

    Cheers,

Valve just released a Steam client update, if that would make any difference.

I think you should see a doctor about that, water shouldn't burn...unless of course you are made of potassium.

Why does valve have to be amazingly slow and lazy lol, i mean they had the patch sent to them at like 9:00 in the morning. You would figure they would have had it up by now lol.

Then again nobody ever said valve was logical :O hahaha, hopefully it will be up soon cause i told myself i would not play another game today until the patch comes out :P.

In the GREAT words of Potassium Man, "Do not drink the water or you will get burnt".

(All of this quoting people has worked me up a hunger storm lol, i wonder what i should have to eat for a late lunch :P)
