    Can we get it in this patch? I bet it took more time and effort to enter that into the pivotal tracker then it would of to edit the lua file for the shotgun xD

    We got the rifle clip changed from 30 to 50. If we have the shotgun clips changed, then I demand 15 clip pistols :D

    If they're changing the shotgun clip size for the shotgun from 6 to 8, they're going to have to adjust the actual model as well adding 2 more of those lights on the side.

    not necessarily. could just make the lights different colors, like an overshield in halo.

    You're not seeing what I'm saying. There are currently 6 lights on the side of the shotgun. The devs want to have 8 shells in the shotgun now. They need to add two more for it to make any sense.

    Edit: And anything related to Halo should NOT be in NS2 please.

    lol. The lights on the gun aren't even needed as it's got an ammo counter.

    Probably gets on a roll looks for the "easy" tasks that can be quickly done and out the way. May aswell get as much done now and have a fatter patch than simply delay the tasks until the next one.

    8 shells-> 4 lights

    color goes dark -> blue -> red. 4 red lights = 8 shells loaded, 2 red 2 blue = 6 shells loaded, 4 blue lights = 4 shells loaded, 2 blue 2 dark = 2 shells loaded. see? except you would apply that to the current 6 light scheme.

    Are you kidding me? Do you honestly think the idea of Marines, guns, aliens and FPS all came from Halo? I don't mean to sound rude, but when did you start playing games, and have you ever watched Aliens, or played StarCraft, or played Quake/Doom/Wolfenstein 3D? Halo has not done anything revolutionary at all. The game is an Unreal Tournament clone with a generic story of aliens invading. NS2 is a multiplayer-only game that has strategic elements with two assymetrical sides. Halo has nothing in common with NS/NS2. When I say nothing related, I mean I absolutely do not want a Halo vibe in NS2 whatsoever.

    On the same topic of what current should and shouldn't be used, I absolutely DO want a dora the explorer vibe in NS2. Feel free to cue the theme music when I go wandering aimlessly through a map on my own journey of self discovery.

    yeah that's what i meant. it's probably not a good thing, but like i said...there are different ways to display the ammo on a 6-light display. e.g. binary, which would be confusing but be able to display an ammo count of up to 31, or using the top light to represent 4 shells and having the 2nd light be always off. etc.

    *facepalm* Different games....different universe....NS had no marketing except the team that was working on it and the love of the game, and were EXTREMELY loved and successful. Halo had money and became popular because they were in the publics faces. [end line]

    That would explain the amount of players online playing ns2 right now. :)
    Here's hoping the Australian server got updated with the tanks too, it looks strangely empty right now:(
