"Oops, make that Build152, not Build 153. :) We're WORKING on 153 now..."
;)
For the ones with problems, try to do the normal stuff to quick fix:
1.- close steam and start it again
2.- delete all content and re-download (extreme measure)
Here are my specs.
i7 920 @ 3.75GHz
6GB DDR3 1600mhz corsair dominator
2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 285
Same, unfortunately can't move and need to alt+f4 to quit the game.
Posting on the feedback page now...
LOL they knew about it. Listed in pivotal tracker: "Multiple hotkey bug"

You don't need to alt-f4, you can just go to the console and type "disconnect"
seems like another netcode bug. The clientside seems to be working fine, but servers are getting DDoS'd by all the connection attempts or something maybe. Maybe dedicated server problem. Guess we'll see.

Are these servers updated to 152? Would it even work connecting with different client/server builds?
And wow Skulks are extremely slow now, it felt like marine speed. I hope that wasn't just to make it easier to shoot them through the lag...
2 minutes later, I can move for about 5 seconds and then it does the freeze again. I can see new player models added to the scene but I still can't look around or move or use the chat. The player notifications, the "new player is known as blah" pop up as normal, and once in a while the popup telling me to join j1 or j2 or rr pops up with sound, but nothing else.
I can't even hit escape to see the menu. To quit I can go to the console and type "quit" no problem though. Seems really strange.
Are we not duplicating the testing conditions? What element is it thats preventing us from getting anywhere near what you guys seem to be seeing?
Probably all the sh!t they remove when making a public build. But then again, they TEST the public builds so who knows...
