But no, there does not need to be a 3rd race. And anyway, I think i would prefer for this game to come out sooner rather than waiting for ages while they create another team.

Obviously the game doesn't need a third faction to be shipped with. Don't understand why you guys shoot down this prospect so readily when Spark is <i>intended</i> to be modded and expanded by the player community, though.

that game has been made, it's called aliens vs. predator, NS doesn't need a third race, it's human technology vs biological supremacy, we don't need another tech based race.
I'm thinking anthropomorphic cyborg space-elephants for the third race. With purple armour. And plasma cannon arms, and rocket-tusks. Then you can give them the ability to lock-down, and their trunk becomes a Howitzer.

Is this still going :), not read anything other than the topic title.
A 3rd race does not fit in with the NS fiction story. It will never be done on an offical level, however as a Community mod fell free but it would be an insane ontaking of work to impliment.
