    Three small SSDs set up as RAID5 and restricted solely for the OS will make it <i>fly</i>, assuming you have a RAID card that can keep up with the throughput. And present them all to the OS natively as a single drive... had that problem with an onboard RAID controller. POS presented the OS with each individual subvolume as an array member. Useful if your OS is supported. Not so much if you want to multiboot between an MS OS and Linux, and you can't just address the entire storage block as 'raid0' for partitioning and bootstrap purposes.

    That said, looks like a solid mid-range gaming rig, Goose. Though I'd have sprung to fill the RAM slots if it were me... the extra 4GB makes a difference.

    personally id go for an i7 or an i5 everytime over a x6
