<div class="IPBDescription">What do you think of the map thats coming with "alpha"?</div><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rza--bGIkbE" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rza--bGIkbE</a>

Lots of pipes and rails in the ceilings making it both "less visible" and blocking dunno if thats going to work. Odd fetish of ramps too, lots of stairs and ramps single place too. Also most hiding spots are too easy to spot and most corridors seems very marine friedly.

That said I have to admit that I have no idea how the game is played so everything above could be upsidedown.

No one said that's coming with the alpha.

You've also seen most of that area before in screenshots.

Too many non shadow casting omnis that makes lightning unrealistic but I guess that's how it should be in a game engine.

The "refinery" feel is pretty good though, good job on that.

But then again you are free to use your deductive organ.

Still watching videos over for some points...

Is this an actual game level or is it for show?

    It is Dux's level.

That map is definently going to be in the Alpha. I highly doubt they would spend the insane amount of time it would take to create that kind of detailed large map on just a showcase map and not use it.

From the Level Processing Update thread:

I hope they meant "In its current state" because like has been said, that level looks like waaaay too much work for just a silly engine test.

Meh, they built the tools so I'm sure their proficient with them. I had a feeling it wasn't a real level when I saw the big long straight hallway at 30 sec.

Sure thing is, the level is a good stress test for the engine.

JAmazon: Remember that they have 2 or 3 full time mappers.

The engine test is not alpha.
