Wow! Again really nice stuff in the video, I'm really looking forward to seeing this in-engine at some point.
Watching you handle lighting was very interesting, the annotations here (and really throughout) gave a lot of insight to those of us that have trouble building a crate, let alone content of this quality.
Even sped-up the amount of time and attention to detail you poured into every aspect made me feel bad for all the times I demanded a change to Bast or Sava. Well almost :)
Edit: Oh, and for anyone who needs some music going while they watch, try this.

Making something look good in this engine is too easy, that's boring :P
Very nice, its really a treat to watch someone with spark chops go at it. I must admit thought that while watching them I kept on trying to rotate the view to look at your level only to realize, to my dismay, that it was just a you tube video :(
Ye gods it's like some unholy fusion of brush based modelling extrusion face splitting awesome. Looks like you get a hell of a lot of control over your face setup.

Sometimes an area just sucks and you have to delete it and make another one. I spent several years making a map when the actual final content only took a few months. Deleting stuff and making it better is fun and dangerously habit forming.

I found myself doing that with the super high res starcraft 2 videos.

Sometimes with my levels, I can delete and re-design an area 5 or 6 times... it's not unusual to do that :)
I was guided watching your videos and create my first room for this engine, I must say that your creativity is unlimited, congratulations for your excellent work!
I was trying to finish the room (and I'd say I'm close), but the video was 16 minutes, so I had to split it and I'm uploading the first part, hopefully Part 7 will be ready soon.
Great videos Mendasp. They truly inspire us all and give us new ideas. It was really interesting to see that you changed this room to be MS. You have given me new inspiration for my MS.
Most excellent Mendasp. Definitely an intriguing experience on how you guys use the editor. Hopefully, when it's completely released, we'll have all of the textures to play with :]

I don't know.
The room looks great, and after watching these videos I feel very invested in it and am dying to see what it looks like from the ground. Even better would be to have it be the first track for Flaytona 2 / awesome hangout for all these forumites. :)
Excellent job once again Mendasp! Would you be able to confirm that, you can use as many lights as you need to, with of course the right properties? Example, Cast Shadows - False.
There is much talk about using the lights too extravagantly!
i was waiting for a new episode. Will you keep doing this for all of the map Mendasp? I reckon seeing how a renowned mapper goes about creating an entire map would be a good source of inspiration to new mappers.

Really nice job, you are an inspiration for me. Your mapping skill is incredible. We clearly see you spend much time on it.

I'll leave mapping to the ones who know how to do it.
