yeah it pwnz you...... and all the marines, every1 post their parasite kill.......

ok mine:
I was on subspace array hive trying to clear the hive, when a marine poops up from the phase gate, so i stand still so i cloack..... Then the marine starts yelling: I need a medpack...... I NEED A MEDPACK!!, so i just throw a parasite, and he dies, it was funny as hell.

I have had yet to get a pariste kill but i got a good one once on Bast. I was a marine and all i had was 20 rounds in my pistol (i was stranded in a room not to far off feedwater) when a mad Onos comes in...

Well i start blasting at him and i have to reload. But theres no time so i whip out my eval (thats right eval)knife and stab him in the eye! Well beleive it or not the Onos dies and starts accusing me of hacking! Silly newb it was soo funny!

Ive killed an HA with a parasite. He started to run back to the elevator, big mistake.
Ive killed an onos with a knife and standard armor. That was fun.

Not sure what map it was but the marines we're bunkering up in a hive while there was an assault underway on it in one of the entrances. I had stumbled onto a vent that lead to the hive and see these marines building turrets like crap. Seeing as how I didn't feel like dying, I decided to parasite them instead. At the time, I didn't know about parasite damage yet but I did when I saw the red -10 health sprite pop up, inspiring me to keep hitting him with parasite. Not sure wtf the marine was doing but it seemed like he was ignoring me and finally he died. I think I got 2 parasite kills in that area before the rest of the team pushed through and I decided to join the attack.

One time on Bast, I was a skulk running from Refinery towards Feedwater. I enter the tram section and see a Lerk in umbra attacking a marine with spikes. Well the marine gets smart and whips out his knife and kills the Lerk (I was too slow!).

He sees me running up and starts coming at me, knife a swinging. I just sit still for a second while he runs towards me. I hit him with parasite and he just fell over at my feet.

It was much like the diarrhea-induced Indiana Jones scene. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'>

My standard way of surprise attack is to charge at the enemy from behind WHILE parasiting him 3 times before I start to bite. If its a lone marine you can actually kill him just that much quicker, since the damage all adds up.

Once i was hiding over a door outside of the marine base with 2 hp left. A fade came, acid rocketed a bunch of marines on the other side of the door then retreated. On cue, 2 foolish marines started following him and got past me. Being a little low on health i pulled out my parasite, thinking if i can't take them out at least somebody will get them. I fired and lol killed one! Didn't know about parasite damage at the time.

I've had a few parasite kills now, I do them purposely to intimidate. My favourite 2 kills were on ns_caged though, not sure the name of the place but its that high room, to the left corridor of the marine spawn and just outside the generator hive. I sit on top of the metal grating and was parasiting a marine that was trying to build a turret factory down below me, I'm sure he was on full health as it took me about 5 minutes to kill him (parasite takes lot of energy) Every time I'd shoot 3 or 4 at him, then he'd stop building and look around trying to find me, but it's a pretty dark corner and I'd cloak soon after. Then after he died another 2 marines came a few minutes later, might have been him again, I'm not sure. I got another kill with parasite then Our third hive came online so I went lerk to spore gas the other. Parasite kill is like knife killing an Onos, really embarrasing to the one that dies but funny as hell when you do it to someone.

what upgrade tree skills did you have at the time? and did you have regen? cause good marines will hear any skulk except silenced ones and hitting a marine from straight forward would mean death unless the marine is a noob or you have good cover.

i would imagine that you would be extremely low on energy after the first 2 parasites (i'm not even sure you have enough energy to cast #3)...and then the rest of the bites will take your energy down more.

just joined a server running ns_nothing, and our single hive in cargo bay foyer is under attack. as i wait in obs mode to spawn in, i see half a dozen marines spawn camping our base. we spawn in one by one and get picked off one by one.

a few smart skulks hightail it instantly and retreat, wounded, to wait for more skulks to do the same and eventually counterattack the marines. the others charge the marines the second they spawn, bite once and die.

when its my turn to spawn, i jump around like a rabbit on speed with the bullets tagging my heels. i hold down attack as i leave and chomp through 3 marines quite by accident, and as i make the last leap before turning the corner, i spin in midair and plant a parasite on the guy still shooting at me, and he keels over and hits the floor. funny <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

on ns_caged, we were attempting to crack open the fortress the marines set up at the generator hive. we had only one hive (the marines had taken ventilation early on) and were trying to flush them out of generator to get it ourselves. 1 Lerk, a Fade (who had survived for over three hours after the second hive died) and I were performing constant hit-run-heal attacks on them, until they threw up some siege turrets that starting annihilating our only DCs....

we charge in and take down the turrets, flee with the bullets whizzing by our faces, and heal. Suddenly i hear the distinctive <i>thoom-clink</i> of grenade fire... instead of retreating, which would have got me killed, i turn the corner and rush at the spammer, who happens to be wearing HA.

I take advantage of his isolation and start chomping on him. in desperation he pulls out his <b>welder</b> and starts welding me. i retreat, welded to a milimeter of my life, and thwack him with a parasite. he dies. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

edit: we never took the generator. in the fourth hour we retook ventilation, prompty lost sewer, retook sewer, spawned 9 fades, and ran over their base and won <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

NS_Bast, we had completely lost, our gorge had been a fool and spent res on defenses instead of getting the hive in the first 4 mins, so we were nuetered. Anyway, the final push on our last hive at refinery, we have HA/HMG Marines all abuot us, siege cannons firing from the vents, the works, so were left as skulks and a few lerks, anyway, I see a jetpack marine scooting about (refinery is huuuuge, goo place to parasite/spike snipe) and I see him fly up in the air, he sees me, starts to open up, im like sod it, parasite, he dies, then falls to earth, We both share a laugh at the parasite kill, then i get ganked by a HMG.

I do so love parasite, as a skulk, my attack is usually parasite, (I prefer to support, im not a great skulk, so I prefer to keep tabs on em so my friends can deal with em)

Okay, each parasite causes 10 dmg, and you can fire 3 parasites in a second? Thats 30 dmg in a second if you hit the target.

So in theory if you could get like 5 skulks together and start firing at a target, you could do 150 dmg in a second, could kill an unupgraded marine? If each skulk fires 9 parasites, that totals to 1350 dmg, enough to kill a HA guy?

If you could get each skulk to fire 18 parasites, I don't know how long that would take including recovery time, in theory you could take out marine structures, or at least weaken them enough so they only need one bite to be destroyed.

Also if enough skulks are behind offence and defence towers, with gorge firing aswell, you could take out HA guys too?

No joke, A guys was running like hell away from a skulk, while i was parasiting buildings, well i saw him and decided id try my luck at killing him with parasite. Sure enough i killed him while he was jumping through the air escaping my teammate. It was hilarious seeing him getting hit by my parasite then collapsing to the ground.

This was yesterday... on the EC server. We had taken out the marines' base and all the IPs, and there was only one marine left. He killed one of us just as I walked into the room. I bit him once, then started jumping around shooting him with parasite. He wasted all his ammo missing me, and I got the final parasite shot in. Finished the round with a parasite kill. -_-

Three per second assumes you have unlimited energy. After three, your energy (yellow bar) needs to recharge again. So figure more like one ever 1.5 seconds <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Okay, 1.5 seconds per parasite, thats 40 parasites/per minute.

40 parasites = 400 damage.

4 skulks can cause 1600 damage in one minute, thats still pretty good, enough to destroy an essential turret to get to the turret factory.
