Could we get some new armor colors for future special editions? When NS2 updates, you can get the update for free, or spend 10$ to get a limited edition armor suit!
For example, maybe a camo suit! or a stormtrooper suit! or a polka dot / pinstripe suit..
p.s. this is mostly a joke, if you couldn't tell. but still. let the ridiculous photoshops commence.

The white light on the black marine looks pretty good, the rest are too fanciful. It's a good idea to change the lights over the basic model, makes them more differentiated - like you said - like special ops
I'd love to see (Atleast in the future) an option to just have a few dozen choices in armor designs to choose from. People love customizable stuff, even if its only a dozen varients between gender/race/armorcolor.
Plus I think it would be cool to run around with your friends on the game all wearin matchin uniforms screamin like banshees as you show the pugs how its done! :]

@ Pre-order post-release question: Even if not, who cares? You can get a mod and pretend you have black armour, it's just no-one else will believe you.
@ Armour light colours on black armour: Won't the light change colour anyway depending on squads you're in? Asides from plastering a massive digital post-it note on squadmates, how else would you determine who's with who? Plus, colours are easier to identify in squads than codenames and numbers.
... So... who's going to be in pink squad?-not it! Ha! >:D

I don't think most of us that bought the special edition pre-order bought it just for the black armor. I mean, it isn't that sweat of a deal to pay 20 dollars extra for a black armor and first access to alpha and beta. Not that 40 dollars is that much (considering the price of pc games in Norway at least). The main reason I bought the special edition for a "wopping" 40 dollars was to support the developers. They are gonna need all the money they can get if they are to become sucessfull developers. Ok, I must admit that the black armor did lure me in to the 40 dollar trap, but hey. If the game is half as good as I think it will be, then 40 dollars is a good deal. I did play NS1 a bit back in the years, and by a bit I really mean a bit. An hour or two every day for a couple of weeks. But it was the only mod for Half Life I ever played. Now that I've grown and become more adult (21 years actually) I might be more tough when it comes to dark scary games. ^^
I wouldn't mind if Unkown Worlds released the black armor as a "pay for update" later on. Allthough it was almost everything the preorder special edition had going for it, I think the developers are in their right to make as much money as they can of off their product. But if post release buyers also get the teams eternal grattitude, I'll make hell on earth! *Laughs for myself* Oh well. Can't wait till this game is released. It is going to be one of the greatest FPS-games (sorry, FPS-RTS-games) of a long time.
