    I'm actualy currently reworking large portions of it as it was way too short a juant to the infected area, but I feel that I should redo what i've done in that section to bring it up to par with my skill set.

    I've taken that "fog" out as it doesn't work the way i "want" it too and Its much to costly on the FPS.

    Here is some more shots (to save my webspace i'm gonna just attach them).

    This is part of the dining area, I may change the lighting Because it kinda looks funny with red and blue lighting, BUT I actualy kinda like the look <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> May drop the ambient down a bit and i have to wrk some brush pushin' magic to get the r_speed back to how high it should be for what it looks like (its criein shame people!)

    (i've actualy posted this on my site now as forum bitching at me isn't worth IT, and i've made it one image for ease of postage).


    So hese are also the rest of the shots from the dining area soon to be more detailed and have like an area for the food to come from!

    yes it is an aquarium and I was thinking about asking for model chairs actualy It would very Exciting if someone would make them for me (I can skin them I just need a mesh compiled with the empty texture maps for HL ).

    BTW: I suggest putting pictures next to each table that looks like a window, to make the marines feel more at home. They do that on US subs.
    Oh, adn n the last pic, you can see the rafter splitting up the wedge on the ceiling, make the cross beams, and wedges on the ceiling func_walls.

    I'm workin on redoing parts of the "eating" area to drop the r_speeds fro above 800 (only 900 but TAHTS HORRIBLE)...


    I'm currently looking for a <b>skymap</b>, and I'm looking for <b>chair models</b> that fit in that area as it is currently... I can texture my chairs my self I just want them done and compiled thnx.. email to Timgauthier@shaw.ca

    I don't really have the extra R_speed to do that though <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> hehe I'm gonna do a HUGE compile right now and show ya all 2morrow how my map looks so far <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> I need to add a few more rooms then connect it to the halls leading to the hive (which i need to finish too) and i got to make sure its not to easy to seige... :S (that may be a BIG problem in my map as i'm making lots of really close halls :S)

    that would be funny
    accept the way the aquarium is made its not really water inside so i don't know if it would work, Also I'm having problems with my particle systems I don't know why <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> I was working but in the new compile its not!

    I had some R_speeds so i fixed them, but now I have no particles working meh! I'll have new stuff soon.

    You might hate me for suggesting this, but how about you ditch the intermittent red lights in the restaurant area and just use the bluish colored ones? Just my opinion, it might make the lighting a little less... whimsical... while still keeping that colorfulness.

    ahh but thing is it casts a really nice purple glow, so i'm thinking of killing more of the red lights and perhaps making a purple light to cast instead....

    and I'd never hate a suggestion, Just people who say mindless things.

    Hey BiTMAP, I made the chair world model but I made the skins pretty generic and they didn't really seem to go with your map. Since you were the one who requested it in the first place, I spent a few minutes and made a skin to fit in with the look of the map. I hope you dig it.
