We all know the fade is the only "class" who can walk tall.
But here my "idea":
The New Fade:
looks more like a black leopard
<img src="http://www.zwote-online.de/images/Kompanie/Pic0011.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />
All weapons are the same BUT with realistic "effects".
Weapon 1:
Claws, he get claws like the skulk (only front legs)
Weapon 2:
he DON'T teleport like Fading, he get the Charge of onos PLUS if he do the charge he can walk on walls for the moment of charge (like fading but without unrealistic flying).
Weapon 3:
he DON'T heal magic like, he lick one's wounds like an animal and so they heal himself
Weapon 4:
he DON'T have a "rocket launcher" he spit the suicide bombs out of his mouth like the Gorge.
thats it a very small idea, i like you are too?

On a less serious note: I've never considered ns much of a realistic game, but whatever. I think it'll look just fine next to the ugly dog with claws istead of legs and the fat pig the clearly hasn't gone through any natural selection in its evolution. Almost anything goes as long as the gameplay stays cool and the game looks unique.
the fade isnt flying, its/he whatever is teleporting, its not realistic, no creature on earth can teleport.
the Fade is the most unrealistic class i guess, i like the class but its very unreal and don't match very good to the other aliens.
@Radix
Oh child, please go spam other thread...im not english so its hard for me to write but you must be a very poor person.
but the fade isnt a creature of the earth, it isnt even a creature.. its the alien pendant of the human, the brain must handle ALL information of all aliens at once and is also telepatic active, biologic the kharrah are way way more enhanced as the humans.
teleporting is not a big deal whit this conditions.
or you could call it different, he destroys his corpse in milli seconds and reform it on the location he wants using the bacteria and microorganisms there.
all aliens are infestation formed and "born" by the hivemind.. so why not?
its not realistic that a creature can teleport, not on earth, not on alien planet, because its not possible.
Its like "oh year there must be a superman outside, with laser eyes, flying attributes and he can't die" so lets put it into ns...
The fade is now a four-legged friend and he can walk on walls like skulk.
Why not?
First off, when it comes to science fantasy / fiction, the premise is that a current theory or physical law is either changed or taken to a preconceived conclusion so that it suits the story aka "Plot Is King".
Next up, its a game. A game, even something as simple as playing tag out doors, requires some imagination on the part of the participants to accept the rules of the game.
As such, I don't mind if a game is believable but as soon as people start claiming "realism" or "realistic", I humbly suggest you go deal with reality and leave the game to the rest of us willing to take the leap of imagination and accept the games rules, even when they break ours.
In conclusion, nothing wrong with the fade necessarily, I would just prefer it if lerk was the player's flying creature and the fade was the player's teleport creature. I understand the last time the fade was originally tried had problems within the limits of being a mod for HL1, so that is why it went to its version of flight, here there is an opportunity to return to the original concept and try a working teleport again.
It was, glitchy, to be polite. Your model tended to get stuck alot, particularly on doors. If you got good with it you could absolutely dominate, however it had a very steep learning curve that frustrated new players, and no matter how good you were getting stuck was frequent.
Who the hell used swipe?! I sure didn't.
If you want "realistic game" dont play with fats dogs who spit on you around a spatial base...
