Colour me interested. Interested as hell.

P.S. Really. It's so awesome. Eldar vs Space Marines ftw. And a hint at 'nids.
P.P.S.S. Is this done by the same people that did the DoW intro? I wouldn't be at all surprised.

And why does the eldar sound like it's wearing a helmet when it's clearly not. WHY.
Fell the crushing might of my heavy bolts orc scum.
A question, though. Are the Eldar supposed to look like that (all humie like!) in the WH40k universe? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> I think all the Eldar units in the DoW series have some kind of helmet on, and I haven't looked into the WH40k universe otherwise.
And I lol'd at the helmet voice. Made me think of this <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" /> (and episode of <a href="http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=125235" target="_blank">the Horror - Dark Crusade</a>)

heh... I had a look at that comic as I was curious and Buggo sounds like an interesting person. To quote off the wiki describing them:
"Buggo is notorious for willfully and cheerfully sowing confusion as to her gender and identity. Indeed, many people believe that she is actually an elaborately designed AI."
XD
I really am not much into the lore, but space marines are awesome on so many levels. I read "The damnation Crusade" I believe it was, at least a couple of issues - anyone know of other similar comics?
Yes you are the only one.

It uses the Company of Heroes engine.
Also, from everything I've heard, the lengths at which they are going to get you more 'connected' to your units gets rid of way too many RTS things. I'm not exactly positive I like the ideas. Then again, I'm going almost completely off of GFW Radio coverage.

Like how?
in DOW you see the DE without a helmet on the main screen if you've chosen the play that race - also, in-game, a number of the icons show the DE full face.

I was thinking along those lines for a bit, too. But hey... it's Relic. They haven't let me down yet.
I was the kind of player who'd build a fairly autonomous and well defended base in Star craft so I could spend the rest of the game flying around a swarm of wraiths or ghosts which I'd decided names for XD
Most of what they talked about revolved around more or less getting rid of Base Building and real resource management altogether. Units would be 'dropped' in, and even then, you'd only control 5 or 6 squads at a time.
Sounds like Ground Control, meh.
The only similarity to Ground Control is that instead of arriving from a building, your dudes arrive from the sky. Why does that merit a meh?
