It was more a "meh" towards getting rid off base building then that it's similar to GC's airdrop. Kind of why I didn't like WiC much, you don't get to march into the enemy base and obliterate them. I know most people quit the game when you are about to because the outcome is decided but it's the feeling blowing up buildings with large explosions (with added physics to the chunks preferably) which I'll miss.

If, instead of getting set units, you bought them with a points value at the start that'd be kinda cool as it'd be a real nod to the source material =D

I'm also hoping to see the Imperial Guard in DoW 2. With the Company of Heroes cover system, I'd be really interested to see some epic defences by the Guardsmen. "For every one of us that falls, ten more will take his place!".
And am I the only one who thinks the Force Commander in the trailer looks exactly like Clive Owen? I wouldn't be surprised if they actually based the FC character on his face. Call me noob if it has been told somewhere <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Holy crap that was a hive fleet blacking out the sky wasn't it? Nids are easily the coolest race in the 40k universe! I absolutely cant wait to use them!
I appreciate an army that needs nothing more than the claws, teeth and acid of its armies to kill stuff. I'm a fan of both the alien movies and NS... Nids is the logical choice for my army of choice

You actually kinda do. See, the 5 or 6 Squads you get are ones that you customize outside of Battle, to work how you want them to.
I still don't like the complete absence of base building, but I'm still willing to give it a shot. The base destroying of Company of Heroes always felt a bit too slow, so maybe this'll help.
