    (i googled and cheated - these somewhat obscure game references are boring for those of us without ultimate geeky knowledge)

    also, I thought CRPG meant computer role-playing game. did you mean JRPG? anyway, yes, chrono trigger is indeed very well known and is the #1 favorite game of many or most RPG fans in my generation =p

    here's another old RPG that's only slightly more obscure, and I thought didn't get nearly enough attention in its day:

    But, really, it looks even MORE like Ragnarök Online's town 'Al De Baran.' Wtf. Even the characters look like the classes from the game.

    you are correct, sir - but it sounds like you didn't need to be told that =p

    that game had a very good rock music oriented soundtrack for a JRPG. I love a good Nobou composition as much as the next guy, but the music and visuals in legend of dragoon were a nice change of pace.

    The only thing I remember about that game is that it had a vagina laser. And, well, that's probably why I don't remember anything else about it.
