Yeah its finally here, a lot of people have been pestering me for a long time to release this - the moment has finally arrived. The culmination of around 6 months worth of demo trawling, capturing, editing and re-editing, radial has definitely become my pet project over the last few months. Featuring some of the best frags ever caught on demo, it's a movie worth a download. Enjoy.

<b>Movie Overview</b>
Radial is a collection of some of the best frags caught on demo over the last 4 years. Mostly taken from the European scene, it is a showcase of the best players in the game, showing many highlights of high-level matches from such competetitions as the Natural Selection World Cup, aswell as the European Natural Selection League premier division, and the second NS-Invitational tournament.

<b>Additional Info</b>
The movie comes in two versions:
1) x264 High Quality: 254mb (recommended)
2) XViD High Quality: 279mb

Both are 800x450 @ 30fps.

<b>Important Notice</b>
Due to the way own-age.com works, the more profile views a movie gets, the more likely it is to be moved onto the front page of the site. Therefore, if you are linking to the movie through news posts or anything else, I would highly appreciate if you would link to the own-age profile, and not the direct download links to the movie. This way the profile gets more views, and potentially gets moved onto the frontpage, where more people will see it and watch it.     This is instantly my favorite NS movie. Awesome. Sheer awesome. The Phil hand grenade was probably my favorite play. Great movie. Is it all from matches or scrims too?     There is some practice footage, but most of it is from officials. Rough estimate: 95% officials, 5% practices.

    The biggest problem with creating a good movie about the American scene, is that you don't have any demos. Sure, there's a load of really old unsorted ones on amped, but most of that has already been used. Can't make a movie when there's no content.

    Also Europeans are a lot cooler than Americans. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

    As a side note, this definitely isn't the end of NS movie making, even if we have reached a high point. I'm going to get started on the nL movie fairly soon and I know b1 is already working on the new knife movie (although I'm not sure if he's ever going to finish it :/ ), both of which have so much good footage available that's never been used in movies before... I don't even want to start thinking about it.

    Holy melons, the daily bandwidth limit for nL.com has been exceeded, which means more than 120 GB has been downloaded in the last 24 hours - that means the movie has been downloaded over 400 times, which isn't something I'd expected at all. The download links will start working again after 00:00 cet <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

    own-age clocked around 120 downloads yesterday, which made it the #3 most downloaded video on the site yesterday. Just a reminder to please link to the own-age profile if you are linking to the movie. We were only about 40 downloads away from coming up top for the day. Good stuff people =D

    They are, if you want a good discussion about it you should speak to mrks from shaoprod, he's very vocal on the subject of developers not writing specific moviemaking tools - his argument is that we're basically giving them free publicity and they owe it to us.

    Oh yeah, I added puzl's mirrors to the ownage profile, so there's links up if people still don't have it.

    as for the music- it isn't house or trance >_< before fananation there was a rule with moviemaking: if you're scandinavian/finnish (especially those swedes!) you use a heavy metal soundtrack; if you're from elsewhere in europe then you use dance. dance isn't too bad as long as it isn't something crazy like hardhouse or trance, but in general both suck for game movies.

    radial's movie has good music like fananation- stuff i've not heard before and sits nicely with the footage.

    oh and esj you're a legend for finding config-RedDog footage: i think that was our last ever official.
