Did anyone else come thinking the N64 game source code was released?

just played for a little bit, seems a bit fun. only a few weapons and maps, and it was really laggy for me but im on a bad connection. has some neat effects though.

This isn't single player conversion, is it?
I'm not particularly interested in a DM mod.

It's multiplayer only. I downloaded it hoping there was some SP too.

I didn't read if it was sp or mp. I played for about 10-15 mins while getting teamkilled half of my deaths. I uninstalled. It didn't have anything special besides a different theme and KotH gametype.

I can't even start it. It freezes when I try to join a server.

Gonna try it out, looks like the only decent PD mod being made.

Looks great, sounds great, just lags like a mofo.

Tried it, its quite amazing. Could even say its the best free mod out at the moment, the modeling is amazing. Only thing I disliked about it was the cross hairs, its hard to walk around with the camera not at least floating torwards the cross hair. I love the idea of their free aim, like operation flashpoint or Move In! mod, but its a bit too extreme and hard to control.

It seems like it could be lots of fun.... I found myself battling the crosshair a bit. I do the flick aim style thing, so with the shotgun I would flick the proper amount to make the crosshair go on the marine, but in doing so the autoaim would screw up.

I really don't like the autoaim, and I really think they need to change that. It has no place in a PC game.

The rest of the crosshair's movement doesn't bother me at all. I don't even notice it... But then again, I only use the crosshair for aiming, not for running...

Iexpected it to be better... somehow it's just not anywhere close to the old game.

I could not possibly hate their ugly, bloated, unnavigatable, laggy, terrible website more. This project proves that flash should never have been invented. I'll give them game a try in the next few days...

Played it for about 10 minutes today. I never played the original so I'm still not really used to stuff, but the maps are real pretty. I don't quite understand the point of the free aim; seems no more useful than normal aiming to me.

Bad game design? dev's can't tell the difference between the source engine and an N64.

Well, the free aim works pretty well in Move In! and other games. It doesn't <i>have</i> to be bad. I agree that the reason is probably slavish devotion to the N64 version, though, which is unfortunate.

The free aim has been in other mods and I love it. Adds a lot more realism imo.

    Dears everyone <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

If you have some bad reply form this game or our website
I'm happy to have this by pm or on our board.

So i'll able to edit it as well.

Website have only one Flash for countdown and it will be removed <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
we do our best to kill the lag but that's remember first NS server <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    I hope you can play on better server soon <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" /> that's an alternative of how to wait NS2 after all.

    cordialy,

Liar, liar, pants on fire. It's flash all over the website. I just wanted to look at the jpeg, not waiting 2 minutes for the flash to load all of em.

Website seems perfectly navigable to me, and the gallery loaded in mere seconds. I don't see what you're complaining about,

the controls make the game feel really ... floaty. would probably be better if the crosshair recentered a bit faster (or didn't move around)
