problem with teh internets this morning?

I can't get to certain websites or games this morning. I can get to most websites (like this one) just fine, and I can even get on WoW...

but what teh GF and I *want* to play this morning - EVE online and her stupid MUD, Medievia - we can't connect to. I don't know if it's a regional problem, or Comcast, or our router/cable modem or what... here's a screenshot of a couple tracerts:

    I think comcast sometimes craps on itself or something o_O...

    Couple of times I've had this happen to me where I can only use certain things.. like AIM works but no web sites work... or I'll be able to play on Steam but not use aim.. or some web sites will load and others will not.. etc..etc..

    Only happened like thrice in the many years but that's what im guessing.

I just thought it was strange where the signal was dying out when I did a tracert... way at the end, like at the destination servers. but I know very little about those things.

    on a more serious note: call comcast, yell at them. a lot. it won't fix anything but it'll make you feel better for a few minutes.

    It probably is Comcast. I have the lovely trouble of having to edit my NIC settings to be able to fully access the World of Warcraft login server. Also, haaaai BM.
