I have to say this
http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....pic=96940&st=0#

Aight, there's the old thread

Now, a few friends and I are rather into science, pseudo-science, physics, and the likes. I and one of my friends are trying to learn about Quantum Physics and MetaPhysics.

One of the things he and I have started to study are the 4 main forces

Strong Force
Weak Force
Gravity
ElectroMagnetic / Electricity

Now, these four forces act together to shape and create everything in the MultiVerse (the multiple universe theory as described by many, including Stephan Hawking)

Simple enough

on the theory Here posted by maver, he makes reference to it being the same field in two different times. This is a very distinct possibility. Tying in with This statement by Geminosity, which actually fits as well, it is possible that the four "primary" forces became impalenced, causing an EM Phase variance that could, ALL IN THEORY remember, allow a "glimpse" of one "universe" into another, via the Photon Interfereance Theory (I forget the exact name, it was used in Michael Chrictons Timeline and was described quite well - Hey, I AM typing this up at 4:04 am ). In other words, every second in time is different in another "universe" of the "multiverse"

So what he could have seen was a shimmering glance into another universe, which is in fact OUR universe but hundreds of years ago.

It was also possible that This statement by Geminosity, where (s)he (sorry, dunno in all seriousness if it's a he or she, and I'm too tired to check ) is true. It's known that Magnets can store an "imprint" much like your hard or floppy disk does. So why not time and space itself? After all, the "Time Space Continuum" is basicly a woven fabric of, you guessed it, time and space.

PLEASE keep this topic on track and don't flame it to the seventh circle of hell... I MUST get some more sleep, then I will try to explain in greater detail what I'm trying to say now ... I'm just too tired

CF Forrester, good find mate.

If it was an electromagic imprint, why did the woman react when he tried to ~touch~ her?
(working on the assumption that it wasn't all fake because then it's no fun to talk about)

What about the strong heat sensation as he got near her?

You know what I attribute it too?

CForrester, you need to get some upgrades going buddy, the neighbors already have sensory chambers up.

Magnetic fields affect tv, why can't they affect the temperature at the point of a magnetic rift in the space-time continuum?

Or maybe he just stuck his hand into direct sunlight from a shadow without noticing.

Perhaps even, at that point in time when ghost lady lived/lives, it's a hotter day than it was then, and the heat energy got transferred along with the imagery.

Nice to see another scientific voice of reason

Yes, it's now 6:30 and I'm STILL up... gerdernit!

Anyway- Heat is a byproduct of electricity, or rather, electrical resistance. So Heat can easily accompany ElectroMagnetic energy when it is torn from it's usual state
  • Private_ColemanPrivate_Coleman PhD in Video Games Join Date: 2002-11-07 Member: 7510Members
I don't know about the shadows though ... if it was a hotter day, and the rift extended past the shadows, wouldn't the heat energy be felt in the "bubble" surrounding the area?

    !!!

Maybe Cforrester, without realising it, placed his hand INSIDE the girl, and was actually feeling her inner body heat ...

    Wierd stuff.
