That crosshair 1 thing doesn't work. I have this problem to and the only way I can fix it is with closing NS and steam then launching again.

I have the same problem! I have to close NS and restart it to get them back too.

I can't tell what causes it, sometimes I can play several maps in a row before they disapear, sometimes they disapear in the first map after I join. One thing is certain, if I play long enough, I will lose crosshairs eventually.

It is impossible to make long distance parasites with no crosshair, and my gorge spitting suffers too, but its more rapid fire and you can see where your shots go so its not as bad.

sorry guys, unfortunately this is a bug, that randomly occurs, but more randomly in random PC's... (yes, quite a mouthfull i'm sure) -quote here-
Anyways, there are many bugs in NS, such as the old 3.xB that randomly crashed NS on PC's running ATI cards after about 30minutes. This also was unavoidable until the next patch came out (so if we read between the lines) unfortunately, the only way to get over this problem is for you to either restart steam/NS (depending on severity) and then relaunch. You will need to endure this problem until a new patch does come out, or until your PC 'evolves' (yes it is possible, my PC is very adaptable ) Anywho, as was said before, it is easier with marines (becuase you can follow the quicckie tracers, and re-level your aim.
This has happened to me before in CO, [never in NS for some reason... hrrmm] and it really only affected my parasite ability.

Prognosis- you'll need to put up with it, but hey, its bound to improve your shooting accuracy [because if you miss with bite... sad] hehehe
apart from that, there is nothing that I can do,

sorry, good luck

Cross hair or no cross hair don't make a difference to my play.

If you can play without crossairs then your very good at knowing the exact point of the cross hair on ya screen.

Its easy enough to remember the exact point on my screen where my cross hair is and i quite often find myself with the problem of no cross hair. I just got used to it, it aint hard really its just practice.

It don't take no pro to do it.

Lets put it in few words!

I like to practice with no cross hair and i am not the only 1 who does so.

If that doesn't work, put a dot of silly putty on your monitor.
