<div class="IPBDescription">High Poly LMG Model</div> At the request of JmmsBondZeroZeroSeven, I've created a high poly LMG. However, it still needs to be UV mapped and skinned by a <i>good</i> skinner. It also has no rigging.
Unoptimized, this is 2540 polygons.

Btw...2500 poly is not high
And 2500 is pretty high for HL1. How many polygons is the default LMG?
his model is like 3.2k with hands so about the same as yours. But 4k is better for "high poly" replacements imo. Anyway make a sg or a hmg, sg perfeably and make it high poly sex. Ill finish it.
well you went as far as to create the model... skin it yourself... i doubt youre gonna get a <i>good</i> skinner to skin it...
Instead of calling his skin "fugly" after he offered to do your model, I'd offer some constructive criticism. This would give him some ideas for how to improve for your model.
In any case, I'll get a better quality render up tomorrow.

Practice? Like all the MP5s and Glocks for CS. It's not like anyone needs more of those, but they're still good for experimentation and study for budding modellers and skinners.

I like LAMs and viewfinders and scopes and IR scopes and bipods and beta-"C" mags and underslung grenade launchers and all that. Makes the thing look awesomely beefy, even if you can't use those things.

you lose at **** contests.
A high poly model for HL1 can be like 40k before even flitting FPS loss on the average computer (Average based off hardware sales). If you wanted to say "High Poly LMG" aim for like 6000+

where is the p90...
thats the default lmg shape.... there was never a design element of the p90 in that gun...

the stupid marine flashlight never made sense to me......

its a big no-no, flayra would come to your home and kick your dog...cat, or grandma if you suggest that nightvision thing again.
flashlight is a balance thing.. just look for those silly nightvision posts yourself

if you cut the gun in half, making the cut at the line right before the ammo clip, it looks similar to the front part of the P90 in cs:s
