Aww darling, you must tell us, after all, going through all the trouble of buying a DVI-I cable is always fun to see if there is actually any difference.

Cyndane, just accept you're wrong. You do realize that most people who use DVI on LCDs will tell you that the image is much sharper than analog, right?

Alright, so no more dear/hun/hunny/darling/cutie/sweet pee/etc.
Rapier7: I hate the way you think you are right when you have no idea to what you are talking about. "DVI isn't analog." Stereotypical person who thinks they know things about the home theatre (yes that is where dvi orgininated) "expert."
@Bacon, I was wrong on the date, but that worked out since I was able to buy it earlier.
@Insane: I'm all for tycho improving the quality of his screen display, but it won't make that much of a difference, I doubt he will even be able to tell. If you don't know what to look for, you won't see it. Ask average Joe the difference between composite (Yellow RCA) and S-Video, they won't see it cause they have no idea what to look for.

Even when proven wrong as tycho shall do when he posts that there is no difference between his vga cable and the dvi, thanks to his monitor not supporting true HD. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Err we are talking digital connection not high definition

So you admitted it will make difference but he won’t tell the difference
I been using a DVI cable for a while now it will make the…. picture sharper Auto adjusts the screen and colour balance on the LCD Moving objects around like a window seem to be faster refresh or some thing (not to sure what it is but can handle movement on screen better)
This was last year when we got two identical screens side by side one with 1 analogue and the other with DVI cable
But in the end if Tycho will notice the difference is up to him but I did see the difference so it was worth it to me
