At first I though where was the android until I realized who was the actual android and man I was amazed.

"it may be a while before androids are escorting tour groups or looking after children"... I know all my babysitters dragged air compressors behind them and required a power outlet. They definitely had "spasms" on occasion, though that may just have been nerves. /bad kid

oh, Repliee Q1 or "Actroid is actually pretty old ,almost 3 years now. i have some pics of the next generation actroid Repilee Q2 Actroid (theres even q3 already). The light from the flash let them look more artificial then they are under normal room light conditions.

Ah, only in Japan.
The one in that "Videoage" post seems to. If that's life-like, I must be a robot, because that's the least fluid movement I've seen this side of a poorly-animated video game character. Plus the arms look super-deformed whenever they move.
That pair of dancing robots from a while back were much cooler, even if it was all programmed.
