<div class="IPBDescription">SLi2?</div> <a href='http://theinquirer.net/?article=23593' target='_blank'>http://theinquirer.net/?article=23593</a>

Does this mean that they knew that Sli had problems and there addressing them? Or does it mean that they're just adding new features that no game right now can reall use.

Or is this story even real?

It dosen't even seem that well written.... but yea there probably is some update to SLi or some new form of SLi that was in development before the first one came out.

nvidia is stupid, if they wanted to make money they'd crank up marketting for regular SLI, run cheap deals, THEN slam us with Sli2. Wow, I hate most major business but I just had a great idea

Ummm, just to clear things up, The Inquirer is a very reputable source of tech news. It's not The Enquirer, which is a "trash" paper you find in grocery stores.

In any case, who cares? I'd rather spare myself the possible hardware problems and get a top of the line chip, or go with ATi's new Crossfire tech, which means you can use two completely different chips together. They have to be ATI, of course.

what i got out of the ATI crossfire was you need a x800 of somekind then the crossfire plus a crossfire enabled mobo.. I don't think you can use a 9800 or anything which would of been cool.

even if it were real, it's still in the design phase, which means precisely jack as to when it comes out. Take flying cars as an example.

So do I. All I have to do is get it up to 88 miles per hour, make sure I'm lined up with the ramp and BAM! flying car.

Landings are a little iffy though.

Interesting info on Crossfire~ it appears that you can run dual slave cards. That could change by the time consumers get their hands on the mobos and everything else.

What? Lol. They have a reputation for inaccuracy, and every article they publish is so far from a professional standard that it's sad.
