However, if you tried to use your LMG with this script, I think a badly made script might crash HL at worse, and at best would fire LMG bullets when you clicked down and one more when you let up automatically. It depends on how stupid the script writer is and if he gets his commands in the right places.

Macros are programmed sequences of keypresses at specified intervals of time. You could write a macro that runs left for 3 seconds, jumps, moves forward for a second and then stops. You could do lots of things with macros, things which would be evil.

Minstrel Knight, you're being sarcastic, right? The internet needs more <sarcasm></sarcasm> tags. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
No, that's a script. Specifically, a non-interruptable script packed with "waits". It would be blocked by bs1
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->
You could write a SCRIPT that runs left for 3 seconds, jumps, moves forward for a second and then stops.
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
...and you would gain absolutely nothing from it. You'd just look like a ponce.

You could do lots of things with macros, things which would be evil.

Asside from self-ponsification, no, you couldn't. Wigglewalk has limited advangates over glide-jumps, and, as I'm sure Jms will tell you, no clanner uses it.

Usually you can only write macros if your mouse or keyboard supports macros.
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
"Write macros"... Well you can write scripts regardless of your keyboard settings, and these would fit your definition of macros. If a macro is indeed a feature of a mouse/keyboard driver, then you would not write it, but it WOULD be dependant the mouse/keyboard in question. Catch22, you've gone wrong somewhere. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Thanks to Swift and DragonMech for the support there. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Acctually there are still alot of evil things you could do with macros... but the only one I can think of that won't get you caught and banned pretty much right away is full auto pistoling.
full auto jumping?
