I mostly get kicked for arguing with ridiculous admin rules which are either imposed on me or somebody else. I can't think of an NS example, but it would be something similar to this CS example I had the other day. I didn't get kicked for my views this time, because after all his logic failingsfor his previous arguments, he finished with the timeless, flawless, admin pwn.

I wear my little blue TSA logo quite proudly.. and the only time I came close to being banned was on a custom server when I was just having some fun and went 28-4 (or something) as a marine and was just about to be banned for aimbotting (the admins were discussing it, and I had 3 specs) the round ended and I could see them discussing it in the RR, the clan leader realized what was going on and basically stated that if anyone kicked/banned me, they would be looking for a new clan..
A few people asked him why, he explained who I was, and one guy actually said "Well they have dev hax, they build them into the game for their STEAM_IDs"

a long time ago, i was playing on a CS 1.x server and was on the terrorist team. a person changed to the arab looking model (the one with the vest) and changed his name to jihad! and told us all to change to terrorist names for "role playing". so we ended up with some muhammad ali's, terrorist ted, suicide bomber, osama yo mama, jafar al mamud el muhammad, etc. and i ended up as "Rich Uncle Osama". then along came an admin who joined the server and promptly banned the entire terrorist team.

i have known snake for years. you were probably temp banned by hlguard. theres alot of false bans by hlguard on his server because of the way it was setup.
just check if your still banned, and if so, post a request to be unbanned.

I played alot of CS before i switched to DoD and finally NS. A year ago or so i was a little bored and downloaded CS 1.6 to check it out. I joined a server running dust2 and joined CT's. First round. I stayed at bomb spot B and killed 2 T's and camped behind the door as i was the last one at bomb spot B. I killed an Admin playing T from behind as he runs into the area. Banned.
I will admit i ban a few people because they cba to read the rules and end up breaking them.
I mean they give excuses like "i don't know where to read them....."
I answer "It comes up in big blue letters acrross the middle of your screen stating the address www.<name of our community>.com/rules.html and if you can't see that you must be blind tbh"
It really annoys admins when people give sad excuses for not reading the server rules.
I mean banning someone for breaking the rule because they did not reading the rules is rediculous but it has to be done because everyone else will break the rules.
Usually i only temporary ban them and give the excuse "Read the rules at www.<name of our community>.com/rules.html before you come back"
I know alot of admins aint that nice to only temp ban you for not knowing the rules when you break them. I have seen admins ban permanently for it but i like to give them more than 1 chance to read them.
Permanent ban for not knowing rules = rediculous
Temp ban and giving where to read the rules in the excuse = fair
well I got a 3 day ban on one of my regular server because we were loosing, we were camped in and I tried a HA full team push out of the base lost the HA and I just said "Free for all on the comm."
Got told to hop into the CC again, I thought it was a ridiculus situation to be stuck sitting in the CC... And said "ban me." If I was an admin spectating me I might of banned myself. I knew a enmy was down this long hallway but I didn't know where. There was a box sticking out near the corner down at the far end. He could of gone down the passage that was right behind the box. I was planning on cutting the guy off by taking a passage behind me so I fire 1 bullet from my ak and immediately turn around(a quick 180) and start hooking away. Guess what, I got a hs on the guy behind the box. Found out I was banned the next time I logged in. The admin wouldn't listen to me on their irc channel. There was this blatant aimbotter on the CTs playing dust 2, he would sit behind the double doors and just awp us through the doors (not through the opening, acctually shooting THROUGH the doors) from the other side until we ran off. So I bought an awp and aimed down the pathway from T start. He blasted one of my teamates, and I took note of where the shot came from, guessed, fired, HEADSHOT!
There were no admins on, so I didn't get banned (chances are he got banned later if he kept hacking) but I found it pretty frigging amusing. "HACK THAT!"

I got banned from a server I played damn nearly everyday on because I asked why another guy who just was banned for having the name of Meth (only the elongated scientific name). I was banned permanently. :/ The server rules didn't say anything about "If you ask XXX question to Server Owner XXX, you will be banned" Nor did the rules say anything about drug related names and banning.
This was on NS. I vowed never to play there again as well, the server owner also boasted that his server was the best server on NS.
Not for cheating. Not for bad comming. Not for any gameplay reason at all. Just for asking a question.

All i can remember was an admin typing:

I mostly get kicked for arguing with ridiculous admin rules which are either imposed on me or somebody else. I can't think of an NS example, but it would be something similar to this CS example I had the other day. I didn't get kicked for my views this time, because after all his logic failingsfor his previous arguments, he finished with the timeless, flawless, admin pwn.

we have amxbans (so all servers dump there bans in a by website accessable DB). Its down at the moment (boo) but it allows ppl to see who banned them, on which server, and why.
Also the forums contain a section for unban requests. Also we don't have many NS admins, so its not to hard to keep up <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
This is a terrible idea, unless it is just to ban someone from all of the servers that belong to a certain clan/community.

WTH is with snakes HL gaurd? Me and pj were playing with one of the FTT guys a while back and HLguard banned him for aimbotting. Snake has to get rid of that thing, it is making his server look damn nub.

I mean they give excuses like "i don't know where to read them....."
I answer "It comes up in big blue letters acrross the middle of your screen stating the address www.<name of our community>.com/rules.html and if you can't see that you must be blind tbh"
It really annoys admins when people give sad excuses for not reading the server rules.
I mean banning someone for breaking the rule because they did not reading the rules is rediculous but it has to be done because everyone else will break the rules.
Usually i only temporary ban them and give the excuse "Read the rules at www.<name of our community>.com/rules.html before you come back"
I know alot of admins aint that nice to only temp ban you for not knowing the rules when you break them. I have seen admins ban permanently for it but i like to give them more than 1 chance to read them.
Permanent ban for not knowing rules = rediculous
Temp ban and giving where to read the rules in the excuse = fair
