After about 20 minutes of playing NS (very latest version of HLDS and NS server) with about 8 players, the server seg faults and crashes. This is on any map.

I ran with the -debug parameter:

----------------------------------------------
CRASH: Fri Apr 15 21:52:40 BST 2005
Start Line: ./hlds_i686 -game ns +maxplayers 12 +map ns_nothing -debug -pidfile hlds.12540.pid
End of crash report
----------------------------------------------

This is Fedora Linux Core 2 on a dedicated server.

updating to FC3 fixed a lot of these problems on my servers

you can do this by editing your yum mirrors and doing a yum update

being as the server starts fine and only crashes after clients have been playing for a while this suggests there may be a memory allocation problem, due to more memory being used to account for entities.

    A common problem I found with FC2.
