And for my own part, I was once banned for scripting because I could fire my acid rocket mid-blink.
Actually, one happened earlier today. I went lerk, and, to my unexpected delight, found that i had spikes, not just spores, due to the plugin. Seeing this, i grabbed primal scream, and promptly became a Kharaa LMG (Lerk Machine Gun). After killing a few LA rines like that, i was suddenly kicked. Supposedly, i was aimbotting.
Another time, I was playing in some random CO map. It was only me vs. the admin, and one other guy, who was spectating, since he was eating or something. I was a rine, and i reached the hive, and started firing, when i heard the chair is under attack warning. Knowing that i'd not be able to outrace the skulk in damage, i finished emptying the clip, and headed back, to promptly run into the skulk, who'd ran to save his hive. Apparently, i was wallhacking, and waited till he was right there, to turn and kill him.
Funniest one though, was on CS. Through the luckiest toss ever, i managed to throw a smoke grenade around a corner, and directly into an admin's head, doing the last point of damage needed to kill him. So i was banned for getting a smoke nade headshot kill. Something which i've still never seen done again.

really you can get any upgrade you want and you start with full adren anyway after you gestate

The map was co_lemmings and i xenocided an a jp who was falling from the hive location at the to and half way down in mid air boom blew him away! He happened to be the admin and bang instant ban reason "Dodgiest kill I have ever seen", made me chuckle that the admin obviously knows nothing about good timing!
I have also banned a few consties from my server for being idiots. 1 was demanding admin because he was constie they were being abusive "You kill me again ya ******* ******* and i will have you banned due to my constie power"
I gave a rather sarcastic answer to him beings as it was my server and told everyone to say goodbye to him before i banned him! The reason i give "Impersonating an admin and for being a ******* retard"
never had any "stupid" bans, but i have been banned/kicked quite a few times from seeing cloaked skulks. also banned from a couple of french servers, no reason given :/

I was banned last night for "suspected aimbot" as a fade. They also said I script because I know how to fade properly (lastinv + fastswitch ftw). The server had mp_bs 1 so the only script I do use, 3 jump script, didn't work anyway. Oh well, won't be playing there. I guess I deserved it since I was server hopping just so I could have something to post here.
I was banned from a DoD server for...I don't know what... my forum account on their website was deleted along with all posts. I was IP banned from looking at the website... edit: also this server sometimes had amx flamethrower mod turned on. When anyone complained about it they ran the risk of being kicked repeatedly and an admin would not say why. A clan member was banned for wishing to leave the clan... ridiculous bans all around.

As an Admin, I ran accross a lot of stupidness from players in a fairly short time. We were a new server and had no real regulars, so we had to be suspect about everyone, simply because we had no background with the players on our server. We ended up with a player who was tearing through everyone, so I did a simple spectate observation, just to make sure he was Kosher. It turned out I didn't find anything wrong, he was just playing well, but from the moment I swtiched to spectate, he became abusive on chat, saying various nasty things about myself, my mother, etc. I told him to shut it, as we had an overall rule of "1. Don't be a ****", which I thought was pretty clear. I warned him, used admin slap (0 damage, just to get his attention) and finally kicked him after several minutes. I was then accused of abuse...do my actions seem unreasonable?

Yes, clearly skilled players should never be specced. If I have a spec I consider it a complement, if you feel otherwize I hope you enjoy staying banned.

what he did was shoot through a door/wall with an MG, unlucky enough the admin was on the other side :D
2 month ban or something silly like that, problem is that they also host ns servers and the ban carries on to those as well.
im not sure if he got himself unbanned though.
you guys are joining the wrong servers
if one of my admins do something like that, he is the one who gets banned... >.>
