the console command "envmap" and a few other commands cause the person that executed them to lock up and crash. i only execute on clients that cant seem to get it into their head to act right.
im still looking for that server log of him trying to report me to valve. i know its around here somewhere.

To contribute, I had a problem with a serveradmin who harrassed other players. He slapped them around for killing him (I managed to do this a lot cause he really sucked as a player). He was also abusive to everyone except his own clanmates in text and audio. As a commander, his clanmates was given weapons while the rest was without ... so I told him to stick it.
On a pure CO server the admin had at least au3 before even a single kill had been made. I opened the console and typed "givexp" but i wasnt given any.
Next thing i did was binding p to givexp and when the next round started i began hammering my p key untill i was lvl 10.

Getting banned for hacking - while kow was on the same server, aimbotting under the name "Flayra". The best part was the ban happened while I was taking kow off the obs. roster for said hacking (apparently going afk was construed as configuring aim vect0rs).
Been banned for killing with charge after the 3rd hive as down, because I stuck next to 3 MCs. On a related note, was banned no less than 10 times for stomp kills.
Edit - forgot, was banned when a new to NS server appeared, one of the admins asked, why does he have that icon next to his name, someone replied "It means NS has found hacks on his system" - the matter was resolved though =]

There was a suspected hacker on the server. I quit and rejoined uncer a new alias to play on his team, so I could see if he was hacking or not. Turns out he was not hacking. So I contuned to play I killed the admin who thought they guy was cheating, and found my self not only banned, but IP banned. Here is where it gets funny, I am the server owner/operator. Because of a bug, I had not been given my immunity. So when the guy banned me for aimbotting as a skulk, I was not protected. As a result only 3 people in my clan have access to the ban commands, and a few of the normal members even lost their ability to use the kick command
A note to many of you, try to find out who is the head server admin/op. Alot of times they do not know what goes on when tehy are not on the server. I know I have unbanned many people from the server because they were banned for aim botting, wallhacking (I love those ones) or scripting by one of my admins when I was not around.

how we on xs4all do it:
we have amxbans (so all servers dump there bans in a by website accessable DB). Its down at the moment (boo) but it allows ppl to see who banned them, on which server, and why.
Also the forums contain a section for unban requests. Also we don't have many NS admins, so its not to hard to keep up

Some of you may know me, I have had my share of unfairly banning some people. Except on some servers where I have been banned, I am left in awe.
Bans that have happened to me:
1)I was kicking everyone's **** on a server as a focus skulk. And I killed an admin, next thing I know............. Ban Reason:For killing an admin without first announcing said admin as a target.
2)I had just gone fade and got focus. I raided the marine base and took out the armslab, armory, and protolab before they beaconed. I was able to kill them without any problems. 1 hit kill FTW. Ban Reason:Use of Instant Kill Hack
3)I am a skulk with celerity. I start seeing some random noob say OMG DEATHKNIGHT IS SPEED HACKING!!! Next thing I know, admin is spectating me. Ban Reason:Use of illegal speed hacks.
4)I was in the process of relocating to cargo on Tanith. I dropped all of the structures as my entire marine team was in there and recycled what was left of my dying base. Little did I know an admin, also an onos was waiting in cargo. Ban Reason:Blocking an Onos with Structures.
5)I go marine and I get an HMG, lvl3, and armor 3 with a JP. 10 level + co server. I get 15 kills, some random noob calls me a hacker. Next thing I know, ............ Ban Reason:Use of Unkillable hack

I and a few other admin on my server banned a guy last night for aimbotting...it was great - we were using Teamspeak so when we heard the report about a hacker we all joined on to watch the show...We got one skulk on the other side to just leap around so we could get plenty of evidence, etc...(stuff like shooting before going around a corner, watching his gun snap to a target through walls, it was obvious)
and the guy had the nerve to say he was using motion tracking!! rofl anyway, he won't be coming back...

Kind of every french server for I am german and they "have to pay more for traffic from my country" - but keep sh**ing around on german servers...

Where the hell do you people find so many bans on French servers? I've been playing on French servers forever, and most of the time it's admins that are lacking, not the other way around. The last ban I have been witnness of must be at least half a year ago.
Another DOD one: I decide to change my class and so I have to die. Then I pull out a grenade and kill myself (no FF). An admin says "If you don't want to play here you're banned." And poof.
NS Comm: A server op had "secretly" turned on Sv_cheats so I pressed my nifty f10 key, got about 5,000 res, and used bigdig. I've never seen so much swearing in my life. 10TFs, Turrets out the wazoo, and seiges. I threw in some proto's and CC's for laughs. Then an Admin asks who's comm and they point at me. Next you know..."Banned: Using commander hacks" Seriously...come on!

The knife ban is probably because they dont want **** on the server who are just there for trophy kills....
and im pretty sure the other bans can be explained in such a manner as well.
