Man I like Ducktales.

What the (*#$ happened to Disney's.
People used to anticipate Disney's big release every year (Alladin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Bambi, Cinderella), now we have the like of Treasure Planet, Emperor's New Grooves, Home on the Ranch. All of which are casts of comedians delivering physical comedy and one liner jokes.

When I read BulletHeads "kawaii" post my body twitched around the room for an hour before I settled on the fact that I want to deliver my knee to his face.

I note, with some dismay, that you didn't recieve any fatal injuries while jerking about on the floor.

Um, be respectful of others' opinions, I guess. (more importantly, hohoho zing.)

Saying "kawaii" is not an opinion...it's a sign of severe stupidity and the disturbing phenomenon of teenage men thinking they are in fact Japanese girls.

But if it's from Japan, it ROCKS!!!1111 No questions asked.

Note: I don't actually believe this. This is sarcasm. Most of the stuff from Japan annoys me. No, I don't want the anime fans trying to teach me how I'm wrong; I've seen the best attempts, and they're still lacking.

As for Kim Possible, I'd say let it go. Far better to let a show stop early in decent quality than to go on and bring shame to the series. And Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Gargoyles, etc. etc. weren't all that great, were they?

But Tailspin was pretty good. It had Baloo!

Med: I'm an anime fan and 90% of Japan still annoys me, and all of the fanboys/fangirls.

"Anyway... back on topic... I want to stop disney from doing this to all their shows... we might be able to bring back the classics if we do!

Perhaps they became classics because of their "early" cancellation.

1) Online petitions do very little of anything.
2) Maybe you should find something more worthwhile to worry about then them canceling a show.

While KP is a good show, there are far more important things in the world than cartoons and worring about when the series comes to an end.

That show was a slap in the face to all the people who watched Voyager religiously. I.E. ME.

I guess it's a good thing I had pretty much stopped watching TV by the time Enterprise came out. I really enjoyed Voyager.

I was surprised that Enterprise could actually be worse than Voyager. I didn't know they'd be able to top it. Sadly, I was mistaken.

Needless to say, but Bullethead, I don't the Kim Possible audience is present in any large numbers in the NS forums. However, you have created a rather humourous thread.

You must not watch the Disney channel. They're all the rage among the 8-12 crowd (that's years, not grades). One guy in this thread mentioned that they phase out the shows after 65 episodes because the audience grows up, which is absolutely true. I personally don't see anything worthwhile in these shows that you can't get from dozens of other sources.

@Star Trek Fans:
If you're looking for good sci-fi, check out the new Battlestar Galactica. It's the best TV scifi that I've seen in, well, basically ever.

@Anime-haters:
Unless you're bothered by the entire graphical style, then you will like some anime. Just like every genre and medium, 90% of everything that's out there is crap; you just have to find the stuff you like. I hate the Tenchi/Inuyasha romantic comedy tripe. They're like the Japanese version of Friends. I do like Cowboy Bebop (a show about bounty hunters set in the future; it's got a lot of film noir and western elements) and FLCL (somewhat absurd show about a boy who meets a Vespa-riding alien; it's got the most amazing animation that I've ever seen, although it does decend to "kawaii" silliness occaisonally). These shows both have amazing soundtracks and they are emotionally moving (this is coming from an 18-year old guy). The Animatrix, a collection of short animated films set in the Matrix universe, is also excellent, much better than the Matrix sequels.

..Don't really care. I was more angry when Gargoyles and Mighty Ducks went off the air...great shows there. As for KP, I never watched it..might have crossed it once or twice, but...didn't stay long. The shows thare arn't animated, just teen dramas really.

They need a real GOOD anime channel... maybe air Naruto, original japanese version with English subtitles... Gundam Wing was alright too.
