edit: i realize this might be a little ambiguous, so to make it more clear, mt. st. helens asploded today.

    Mt. Saint Helens did not erupt.

    It had a 'small' explosion, whatever that means.

    CNN has <a href='http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/science/03/09/saint.helens/index.html' target='_blank'>info</a>.

    Had it actually erupted we'd be seeing pictures of lava flow and it might even bump Micheal Jackson's picture off the index page for a few minutes.

    I don't think St. Helens is the kind of moutain that oozes lava. It's the kind that explodes (as we saw about 20 years ago).

    If you want lava, you should goto Hawaii.

    Its still "lava" per say, that or magma. It just hits the air, cools and hardens during the explosion.

    It took me somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 whole seconds to realize you used the windows background and superimposed it there. Nice.
