    Nooo!!! Normally I don't beg like this, but Fuzzy, I think you might be the only one capable of giving this guy some decent animations. I can slap him on the default anims, but I can't make it look good!

    Fuzzy, you've gotta do this. Now or when you get time, this model absolutely must be properly animated.

    Well I'll try a few, cant promise the whole thing D:

    On the other hand, the skin groups are not assigned, so I'm not assigning everything just to redo it, its practicly a job in itself.

    Yeah, I noticed Milkshape doesn't assign the textures correctly... I'm currently trying to locate a copy of 3ds max 7 so that I can work with it, but I'm looking in channels that aren't exactly legal... so it could be a while, as in a few days.

    Tell ya what, Fuzzy. I'll find a copy of 3ds max for myself and get you a textured version of the marine that you can work with, and maybe by then you'll have this car situation worked out?

    The .obj is, of course, 9000 tris, when it's only supposed to be 4500? Also, the .obj fails to keep the UVW mapping, which you've done an excellent job of. This would be a moot point since you posted the .3ds, but the .3ds you posted won't import correctly into Milkshape or 3dsmax 7. Max says "Invalid File", and then "Improper File Format" when I try to import it, and Milkshape just drops it silently. Is there any way I can get you to email me your original .max files? My email is snappycrunch-at-gmail-dot-com.

    I'll PM you with the same info I'm writing here.

    Shouldnt be too hard. Import into 3D max export into smd with correct textures, then assign bone structures.

    Well, I guess if The_Thing has managed to assign the textures correctly, there's no need for the originals. Thanks for the help anyway, Brig.

    Oh, and The_Thing - If you give up on assigning the bones, send it over to me and I'll finish it up. I'm glad you're doing it, though. I wasn't really looking forward to it.

    I made a compile with bone assignments but it turned out to be very buggy.

    Well, I finished assigning it to the default skeleton. It has a few glitches, especially in the hands, but I'm willing to live with them.
