    It's amusing how many of these are no-brainers. Hot-swapping harddrives inside your case? I say a little holiday barbeque is in order to knock some sense into your brain.

    This one was gold though:

    Arr, I had the very first one happen to me. I tried a Dell power supply in a regular computer. Boom. Or rather, lack of a boom, or any noise at all.

    Strangely enough, a regular power supply will work in a dell, just don't try a Dell PSU in a regular computer if you value it X(

    This happened today...

    Today is the day i come back from uni for the weekend, yey! So i jump on the train without a care in the world and return to my home town, then get a phone call.
    <!--QuoteBegin-Housemate+--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Housemate)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Erm, hello. I'v had a bit of an accident<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    To this i just sighed as that particular housemate happened to be using my laptop last time it broke.
    <!--QuoteBegin-Housemate+--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Housemate)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Is your laptop insured<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Oh no, what this time. Last time it only cost £50 to fix, this time he wants to know if it's insured. Has he used it as a frisbee? has it caught fire? has there been a power surge?
    <!--QuoteBegin-Housemate+--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Housemate)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Well, you know you said if i wasn't careful i would end up droping it, well it fell off my bed and landed on the screen and now it's cracked and doesn't work<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    *Sigh* I'll sort it when i get back

    And THATs why my Uni PC is just that, a PC.

    NOT a Laptop.

    80% of computer failures can be attributed to careless (mis)use. And yes, I made that up on the spot.

    Uh... just curious but did everyone else get words linked with 'contextclick' on that webby or have I managed to somehow gain an annoying piece of adware on firefox that neither spybot or adaware can spot? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Never seen it on any other website than that but I'm already annoyed and worried lol.
