I strongly think its the sever that enables it. My n00biness may be wrong though..

    Yes. It's a server switch.

This may also be addressed in the 1.02 server patch as well, I believe.

I was just wondering (and did not want to start an entirely new thread for this), if there is some way you can see the amount of armour a marine has?
It's so annoying to have to start welding people who may have full armour, and if they don't you still don't know when to stop. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

If there are no way, can?t that be implemented in an upcoming patch?
Then I think it would be great if you only could see the armour value if you're holding a welder, then there wouldn't be any indicators in the way when you?re not welding... <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Yes, it is serverside: sv_showdamage . It should be always set to 0, as it can give unfair knowledge about players whereabouts. Its inclusion was for debugging.

It would be handy with some way to tell I guess, but until then do as some players already do. Nod when your armour is full. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
