<div class="IPBDescription">help me help me help me...</div> Ok, heres the deal...got a new computer fro xmas, some aspects need to be upgraded, but whatever, beside the point. I'm getting monster fps lag on almost every map. Not all the time, just in certain portions of the map. At the initial load screen, net graph shows 99.9 fps constant, but as soon as i drop onto a server, it drops to less than 50, and at various points on the map, it'll drop to as low as 5 to 7 fps and framelag the crap outta me. even standing still.
Before you go badgering me to read the lag stickies, i already have. Heres my system specs:
P4 2.6GHz
1gb 733 MHz DDR
80 gb HD
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 Chipset @ 96 MB
Running RefreshLock at 85MHz 1024x768
I have my rates set correctly for my comp, updaterate, cmdrate, etc. I've tried several variations on the rates, but none have any effect. I have antistropic filtering off, and theres no option anywhere in the graphics properties to disable vsync or i would. And yes, i do have the latest drivers. I also have all the tweaks running to make NS look like crap, but supposedly run faster. No effect.
So if anyone has any advice, besides upgrading my vid, which i'll be doing next month, let me know so i can be back to gnawing on rines with the quickness.

edit:
i dont think that answered the question though, if im standing in one place and i'm lagging really bad, it doesnt matter what i look at, in any direction, the lag continues.
