1) i do not live on the eastcoast
2) i am downloading at 5kb a seconed (when i usualy go 400kb)
3) I STILL DO NOT HAVE A BLOODY KEY!!!!!

The World of Warcraft community site and the open beta account-creation pages are currently unavailable. We are experiencing technical difficulties on our end and are working diligently to restore service to this site.

Please keep in mind the following important points:

You can download the open beta client, but playing in the World of Warcraft open beta test requires that you create an open beta account using the account-creation pages on WorldofWarcraft.com. These pages are currently offline, but we are working hard to bring them back up as soon as possible.

Access to the open beta test will be limited based on server capacity, so if more people download the open beta client than can be supported by the open beta servers, some people might not get the opportunity to play.
When the website comes back up, we will be able to provide the open beta account-creation pages so that people can create open beta accounts and start playing if they.ve downloaded the open beta client (or download the client if they haven.t done so already). We do not currently have an estimated time for when the site will come back up, but we are working extremely hard to solve these technical difficulties as quickly as possible. Wow, this Blizzard Downloader thing sucks rabidly. Eating my upload and downloading at a horrible speed.

Account creation is back up, but once again, its getting hit hard. On top of that fact that I'm downloading the beta, alot of the page is not showing up.

Anyone here able to switch some pics over for me from TGA into JPeg? I got some funny ones.

Basically, our server has gone down for tonite for a while. Suddenly, the leader of our guild says "Everyone go on Test Server 4, and make a female nightelf with the most stripper-esque name you can think of. Just unclothe and stay in the starting area."

We thought this would be funny enough- but then he picks out a guy. "Darkar" his name was. We make a perfect circle around him, and all put in /dance.

Then when he goes to leave, we all put /follow on him. He doesn't go far, but he gets a bit creeped. THen he runs back, and we form into a line. We all start dancing again. Then someone named Crickett said "Some people have too much free time."- so I slapped him. Soon after, 15 more slaps followed. Then he says "Everyone, on the count of three, logout."

Funny, funny stuff. I'll post pics when someone can convert.

You got nothing. When I downloaded WoW a couple days ago, I uploaded the entire game before I got near finished downloading. Silly FP not protecting their links to the stress test. Glad I don't have to worry about downloading like some of you.
