It's too old imo, and it's not even a weapon...

I submitted the 9A-91 if anyone cares.

And to the people who said they didn't have enough time, I modelled two models intended for this contest, and done entirely within the contest's timespan, as well as finishing up a few other models for someone, I think you can find time to model just one gun.

You may say that, but it's totally dependant on the modeller. I for one take a lot of time with my models because I can't sit there for ages doing it. I get fed up of looking at the same screen and frustrated when things go wrong. Your one of the lucky people with an ability to get it done in a short time span.

I could start now and make 2 models equal to my SG552 and still take part in the compo. People call me fast. I call myself impatient.

I get frustrated and stop sometimes too. Then I realize I don't have anything else to do and reopen milkshape. =/

Though if I do build up enough giveashit, I can get stuff done pretty damn fast. Like the Drake series (especially the first few )... And rabbiteh, you'd better vote for meh D:! *passes money under the table*

my ceruberus isnt going to be entered into this compo, its not even a ns community competition afterall. Just look, about 10 people from like the DLCSS and TS forums come here with theyre perfect models, and then im here, whos been in the community for months doesnt stand a chance.
• SchmungSchmung Join Date: 2003-05-13 Member: 16243Members
I could have submitted last week, but the fact is I don't have a great deal of time spare because of all the mod stuff I'm doing and real life. I'm thinking I'll remodel the back of the gun a bit today and then possibly stick a scope on it so it meets the polycount.

Could I request that every Model that gets submitted be put in the first post (in alphabetical order of author's handle) with Model Title and Polycount clearly visible. Becuase I don't remember everyone's name it's difficult to remember who made what. Sticking everything on the front page makes for easier judging and future forum reference.

We are already having all the models put into an MS3D 3D Viewport Internet Explorer page. It wont matter though, we don't get to vote.

contest ends tommarow midnight so make sure you send all your submissions in

IF YOU WANT TO JUDGE PM ME!!!! ANYONE CAN JUDGE!

judging wont begin till i get more judges and i get all the entries sent to del so he can put them in the 3d viewer

once i figure out who is judging ill pm everyone the 3d views and the point scale system

It doesn't matter if I don't get to judge, I still want to see for myself who I think has submitted the best work. Additionally it would be nice if when the next modelling contest comes up we can all look back on this topic and see all of the models in their beauty (broken links dependant).
• ChronoChrono Local flyboy Join Date: 2003-08-05 Member: 18989Members
i still got plenty of room for judges if you want to judge... after judging is over tho ill link to all the 3d views
• CrispyCrispy Jaded GD Join Date: 2004-08-22 Member: 30793Members, Constellation
Remind me again of the required attributed of the judges, because I doubt I qualify:

- Have never modelled
- Do not own any modelling program with which to view the models
- Am currently abroad so am unable to download and save any files via the internet (Easy Internet ftw )

As such my decisions would be based purely on submitted screenshots and I doubt any of the competitors want their two weeks of hard work critiqued from a still view and a modelling rookie.
