My dream has always been to fly. I may have had the controls only a short three minutes, but those three minutes made my day. Hell, it made my YEAR.
What really drove this all home was the fact that they HIRED me to work the ramp! I get paid to be around planes, and even get taken up in one every now and then!
Just had to share this with everyone. I believe everyone should have their dreams come true, and who knows? Yours just might. It's actually amazing the doors it has opened up to me. Don't just let those few minutes be your dream, shoot for the stars. It only gets more fun the further you go. One of my dreams came true, i dremed that I was in school but the classroom was diffrent. 1 year later we get renovated and I find myself in that class.
But no none of my REAL dreams have come true although I did dream that.
Okay, my lifelong dream (and it is pretty much my life - Since about 4/5 I decided I sucked at art, my uncle told me about the concept) is to become a game programmer, too. Blahdey blah blah, laffey laff laff, wee hoo, generic stupid dream, etc.
I know it's unrealistic and I know I probably I won't make much/any money, but it's what I want to do, I don't mind working a mediocre office job to pay for living as long as it leaves me time to make at least one game.

I flew a plane when I was ~10. Was cool as hell, I'd do it any time again. Of course there was someone else there with me, but I wasnt an idoit, my Dad was retired from the Navy and he'd taught me the basics to flying on the simulator, so I had a pretty good idea of what was going on. When I join the military, its come down between .. well, the Army is something I've always wanted to do, but then again I might be a Navy pilot. You never know.. Well, not completely lifelong, but I started designing a 'game' in seventh grade. Was going to be a hybrid FPS/space sim with the player as a member of a fighter squadron that did double duty of ground missions and ship boardings. Very Star Warsish, but with bigger ships and fleets. Some elements of it I look back on and they're actually kinda cool, but I could have never pulled off good game mechanics then. Mostly the dramatic story stuff is what still sticks with me. About that same year I discovered Quake and, soon after, Worldcraft. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Dating back even further, though, third grade or so - architecture (heh). My parents built a new house which we moved into in 1991 or 92, can't even remember now. I was completely fascinated with the designs of it and watching it be constructed. I did tell my mom and granddad back when I was 3 or 4 that the job I'd end up working probably hadn't been invented yet. I've always loved germany. Always wanted to go. I love the culture, and everything about them.
A few months ago, I went to europe and went to Germany. I got drunk with the Germans at Oktoberfest, and danced and sang and laughed. It was a dream come true.
i'd like to be a helicopter pilot, but there's no way i'll be able to do it, so i'm current;y focusing on a more relistic dream of making more money than my dad(which is a considerable amount)

A few months ago, I went to europe and went to Germany. I got drunk with the Germans at Oktoberfest, and danced and sang and laughed. It was a dream come true.
and i'd also like a lightsaber
im currently aspireing to gradutate college. early. with 2 degrees.
6 weeks left.
after that i need a new dream.
