    Can't get an accurate count? If you're displaying the poly count in the upper right of your window, it should list polys and tris of the scene and of the model you have selected.

    Very nice Brig, but somehow i doubt that's 2500 triangles. Maybe it's showing the count on quads?     Nocando, it's somehow "integrated" to my 3dsmax so i don't have it anymore. I used to have the whole scene separately but now... Poof. It's originally by Firegold, since i totally suck at rendering stuff. You might want to ask him, he's usually around the Ghostops forums.

    Ice, nice model, but i suggest you make the back of his legs less fat and the arms have a weird twist around the elbow too
    also the legs look so loçng, maybe it's because the knees are a bit too low but most likely because the waist is slightly too high, can't tell but they just seem to long to me

    Yeah but that's the problem; I lost the actual scene after formatting my computer, but I had burned my 3dsmax to a CD. After copying everything and starting up 3dsmax, all the lighting settings are like on Firegold's scene.... Oh wait I can just save the scene as... God I'm dumb.     Thanks to Darkizz for that scene, just what I needed, no more Brazil and I'm a total rendering nub:

    Supershort on top, 'tactical' on the bottom, with telescopic stock (shown retracted) and the picatinny rail plugged into the mount thingys. I'll submit it later on if I can't get anymore work done or if I don't hear anything about the deadline being extended.

    I don't like the stock much, what i'd do is to make it similar to the old Beretta smg(can't remember the name) or MAC10. Right now it looks too thick and odd.

    For all those people out there thinking I'm jealous, I guess I should explain myself.

    I thought this contest was going to be an NS community contest. I didn't really mind the fact that chrono invited his friends from other communities to participate, but why bend the rules for them? Or any of us? I think were set down, and they should stay where they are.


    But I'm not jealous, even if their skill is beyond me.

    Well, generally peoples lives are busy and this is drawing a lot of people that haven't modelled for a while, so what the harm in letting them take a little more time to finish things?
