isnt really a friend of mine, but this guy has a customised FN FAL, kinda like M4 SOPMOD, but with a FN FAL instead. So its really the few of those 'one of a kind' gun

Might do one with an elongated vented barrel as well, just because they're cool.
Rabbity, is that FAL you were on about like the one pictured at the bottom here (the DSA 58 OSW?

there's nothing really impressive about an untextured player model @ 1490 polys but whatever. this comp gives me the impetus to finish modeling something I designed meself.
Getting there. K type variant, telescopic stock and solid stock. Rounded and flat undersides on the foregrip. I'm currently siding with the rounded one. Each one comes in comfotably under 1600 polys.HK type sights because I like them and couldn't think of anything better. Needs a fire selector switch and more gubbins. It looks fairly plain at the moment IMO. What think you lot?

The reason u aint digging it is cos its a glock...they're all too samey and kinda lame looking. Its a nice model, but its a glock if u know what i mean. I know u'r capable of much better, that beretta was the shiz!
On a side note, my Mac11 now has fire selector, safety and huge silencer.

Smoothing was done is a few minutes to give an idea of what I'm shooting for. This is unoptimised and is the result of a couple of hours work.
It's loosely based on this :
