I'm just glad something came out of that competition, it's through the compy (through a link from Naigel) that I joined the forums. So I should probably add ty Naigel for introducing me to a brilliant mapping collective. Some of the other soon-to-be-released mapping projects are of an astounding calibre. I'm just glad to know that I'm surrounded by such talent. Looking good guys. Definitley looks a lot better than co_derelict is turning out since I took over on it. In fact I am thinking this set of screenshots will probably send me back to restructuring the whole thing, as by comparison derelict looks awful. Anyways, good work guys, I look forward to the trailer.
You know I have never really liked your mapping, although now is a different story.
I think you have been viewing the forums and keeping quiet about this for a long time, because it looks as if you have viewed alot of peoples harsh criticism (hopefully a good chunk of mine) and used some of that in your own map (leren). It's so nice, that at the moment I won't crit. I'll sit back and wait to play a beta release, and then consider criticising as it, as it looks too wonderful to spoil.

Those two are the mapping muscles in this team. Credit where credit is due - Naigel is one of the best mappers I've seen and Belgarian is one of the best lighting guys I've seen.

Well..I'm open to a new ns_ map. But this map doesn't really lend itself to being a "ns" map. I guess if we added more underground hives then it would...that would make sense I guess...

These are alpha shots from the <b>"storage room"</b>.
<b>Little bit of info for you</b>: The storage room is a 3 (or 4) storey high storage facility. It is accessed by truck from two large doors (the doors are sealed off by a large mesh fence and roller door thing). A mechanical crane is lowered from high up in the storage area and lifts deliveries/crates/packages (mostly crates) from incoming vehicles.
This is one of the newer areas that has been completed. We were tempted to leave this area as a surprise because it really is quite awesome to see (in game) but we figured if we didn't post the goodies people would get bored <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
